HOW DID THIS EVER MAKE ON AUDIBLE?!?!?!?
Revisado: 01-30-15
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
This is my new "worst" book in my library, I do not know how Audible let this one sneak through. The author is a poor presenter who CONSTANTLY says "I am now talking off script..." the audible book is more of a rant than a reading of a book. Dear Audible you sell audible versions of books, not rants.
In Chapter 1 when the author has one of his verbal run ons "I think for my next book, I will write something on contradictions..." It had nothing to do with the book I thought I bought. That was it, STOP, REMOVE FROM DEVISE. I drove in silence rather than hear any more of it.
DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK
What could Gary Vaynerchuk have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Read the book he wrote at least I might have listened to it. Some authors should NOT read their own work, this is one of those times.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Gary Vaynerchuk?
One of the many great readers that I trust Audible to read a book as it was written.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
ANGER.
I bought a book not a rant.
Any additional comments?
BAD BOOK but I blame Audible. How was this produced, it should have NEVER gotten past the producer?

Historia
What is the value of a college degree? The four-year college experience is as American as apple pie. So is the belief that higher education offers a ticket to a better life. But with student-loan debt surpassing the $1 trillion mark and unemployment of college graduates at historic highs, people are beginning to question that value. In College (Un)Bound, Jeffrey J. Selingo, editor at large of the Chronicle of Higher Education, argues that America’s higher education system is broken.

A must read before your college search
Revisado: 08-28-14
If you could sum up College (Un)Bound in three words, what would they be?
Not reading this book before your college/university search is like jumping from a plane and reading "Parachuting For Dummies" on the way down.
What was the most compelling aspect of this narrative?
THE FACTS are shocking
Have you listened to any of Fred Stella’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
NA
Any additional comments?
Great author with a good selection for narration. Too often good books have had poor narrators

GREAT book HORRIBLE audible
Revisado: 01-26-14
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
This book was so good I bought the print version and found the time to read it as the audio version is the worst I have ever heard. I tried hard and repeatedly to get through it but just could not.
What other book might you compare Promote Your Book to and why?
Fry has done other good books and I would recommend them.
How could the performance have been better?
A different voice talent PERIOD
Do you think Promote Your Book needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
The blog and continued work by this author is current.
Any additional comments?
I will NEVER even consider a book by this voice again.
