Wasn’t for me
Revisado: 01-17-25
I didn’t like this book at all. Felt that at was reparative at times and just the over all story didn’t make sense.

Way overhyped
Revisado: 10-26-24
It's over 800 pages and it was so overhyped by TikTok influencers it's crazy. There were so many meaningless side stories and characters. That book could've been 1/3 of the length. Don't waste your time with that one. I was so mad about how terribly written that book was and what a waste of time it was to read it, Sometimes a bad book is a bad book, they can't all be winners, but how dare you take up that much of my life to drop a huge turd like that! She introduces characters in the beginning, drops them completely and 694 pages later she brings them back and you're like, "wait did we meet you? Wtf..." And have to flip back to the beginning and try to figure out who they are again. Ugh... just nooo... Save yourself!

Historia
After Tova Sullivan’s husband died, she began working the night shift at the Sowell Bay Aquarium, mopping floors and tidying up. Keeping busy has always helped her cope, which she’s been doing since her eighteen-year-old son, Erik, mysteriously vanished on a boat in Puget Sound over thirty years ago. Tova becomes acquainted with curmudgeonly Marcellus, a giant Pacific octopus living at the aquarium. Marcellus knows more than anyone can imagine but wouldn’t dream of lifting one of his eight arms for his human captors—until he forms a remarkable friendship with Tova.

Great book ❤️
Revisado: 09-08-21
After two years of audible you become picky of the books you listen to. So when this book came across my you may likes, I listened to the sample and thought I’d give it a try. It drew me in and I couldn’t stop listening. The story seemed thousands of miles away but still right here. I laughed, cried, and cried and cried some more.❤️
