Definitely a great series! I was hooked before book one ended. I liked the story, the many plot twists had me wanting more. I have just a few complaints though. Like, I get that the characters are neutral good, but there has to be a point when the characters realize killing the big baddies might be more helpful than letting them live and leaving loose ends that come back to haunt them over and over again, or kill more innocent people, leading to more death. Are you really neutral good if you decide killing a few bad guys is evil, but letting them get the chance to wreak havoc is not? It was a bit annoying when the story would be coming to a head, one of the female characters would show up, and the main character had to stop and gawk at them like he'd never seen them before. I wanted to hear what was happening in the story, not hear the same several minute description of a woman for the 40th time. And the sex scenes were ok, but I would've preferred to see the characters have more intimate moments instead. I would've liked to see moments where the characters were emotionally vulnerable together and supported each other. I would leave examples, but I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't read it yet. The narrator, Chris, is good at differentiating character voices, I could always tell who was talking without having to be told. But, there were a few pronunciation errors that irked me a bit. Like pokeball, and Saitama, but overall, it was good. In conclusion, definitely worth reading. I would suggest it!
