why is audible switching the version of books?

I had the original version with Todd narrating and I loved it because of him even though the writing makes me cringe with how "not simple" it is. But with the number of books in my library I can't keep all my books downloaded. listened to the first book yesterday and downloaded this one to listen for the fifth time today and what do I find but a new version with a narrator I don't like. Why? Just why? I'm still on chapter 1 and I miss Todd so much

Excellent story and voice acting, average audio

The story and narrators were superb, but the audio quality was inconsistent. Also background noise could be heard sporadically like rustling paper or cars passing by.

A Dizzy Judge has Poor Judgement

Excellent performance overall, but there were a few recording hiccups where the same line was repeated, coughing could be heard in the background, or other things like that.

I truly enjoyed this book. I have all of Virlyce's other books and I had been eyeing this one for a while. It did not disappoint. Definitely worth a read and I'd love a sequel.

excellent but...

Excellent, nearly everything was perfect, but for some reason Dorrie Sacks sounds like she was recorded over the phone. Not the her performance wasn't excellent but the sound quality of her lines isn't the same as Jeff or Annie. Besides that this was an excellent enjoyable book and I definitely recommend it.

Great story and performance, but tempo seems off.

The story and performance was amazing as usual but the tempo seemed off this time. I greatly appreciate the length of the book, but the story seemed as though the last four hours were added on to an already complete story. That's not to say they weren't an enjoyable four hours, but they seemed detached from the rest of the book. It felt like there should have either been another chapter or two, or the last few chapters could have been put in the next book. As it stands the ending feels abrupt and forced *spoiler* ( the last sentence is literally "Casually talking about a course with the express purpose of making it easier to kill other human beings" ) it could just be me but that just doesn't seem like a good place to end the book.
