Historia
In Overcomer, beloved teacher David Jeremiah offers his insights on one of the most quoted but least understood passages of the Bible: the apostle Paul’s admonition to the Ephesians to take up the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). With his signature depth, wisdom, and compassion, Dr. Jeremiah explores the powerful relevance of spiritual armor as a critical tool each day as we confront the specific challenges in our lives and of our time.

Wow!
Revisado: 04-08-22
Wow! I was hooked & didn’t want the book to end. I got so much out of Jami’s words. I want to read it again because so it sinks in more. The real life talk, the scripture to back it up, the love she has spills out all over the book. She makes you feel like she’s a friend & your chatting about life over coffee. All praising God! As this book came to a conclusion I thanks God for Jami & her writing. What a gift from above.

Historia
Millions of online fans have flocked to Susannah B. Lewis's hysterical, take-no-prisoners rants about her pet peeves in everyday life. Now, in How May I Offend You Today?, Lewis turns her trademark humor to ordinary events that work her nerves - from people who wear T-shirts with indecent images to public displays of affection in the plumbing aisle of Lowe's - while keeping a wry eye on herself and her own temptation to vent grievances "like a teenage girl in overalls and Birkenstocks."

Historia
Patricia Campbell's life has never felt smaller. Her ambitious husband is too busy to give her a goodbye kiss in the morning, her kids have their own lives, her senile mother-in-law needs constant care, and she's always a step behind on thank-you notes and her endless list of chores. The one thing she has to look forward to is her book club, a close-knit group of Charleston women united by their love of true crime and paperback fiction. At these meetings they're as likely to talk about the Manson family as they are marriage, motherhood, and neighborhood gossip.

Really wish I could get that time back
Revisado: 05-20-20
I didn’t enjoy this book at all & don’t know how I made it through. I even stopped & told myself to have an open carefree mind but the storyline just kept getting worse.
