Historia
Tommy Phan is a successful detective novelist living the American dream in Southern California. One evening he comes home to find a small rag doll on his doorstep. It’s a simple doll, covered entirely in white cloth, with crossed black stitches for the eyes and mouth, and another pair forming an X over the heart. Curious, he brings it inside. That night Tommy hears an odd popping sound and looks up to see the stitches breaking over the doll’s heart. And in minutes the fabric of Tommy Phan’s reality will be torn apart. Something terrifying emerges from the pristine white cloth....

An attendant has been killed, and the local cops are in over their heads. Suddenly, Andie is obsessed with the case, and back on the trail of a killer, this time with kids in tow.

100% Political Brainwashing
Revisado: 10-08-23
The story is nothing more than a liberal political agenda disguised as a fictional story. I listen to fiction for entertainment, not to have someone’s political beliefs forced on me for 10 hours straight. I don’t want to listen to a 10 hour political satire (whether it be liberal or conservative) disguised as a fictional story.

Very realistic and well written. I don’t like books where you have to suspend reality, and I did not have to do so. Great thriller!

Could have been a good book
Revisado: 06-01-23
The premise of the book was good, but the execution of the story was overly simplistic as if it were written by a teenager. The narration was overly dramatic and came across as almost hokie. I would not recommend this book to anyone with discerning tastes

Conservation Editorial disguised as fiction
Revisado: 05-17-23
This book was a conservation publication with some very poorly written “fictional story” elements woven in. I would like to enjoy a fictional book for the story, not be “preached to” continuously throughout the “story”. Very poorly written and unoriginal.

Historia
On a sunny May morning in 1998 in Cortez, Colorado, three desperados in a stolen truck opened fire on the town cop, shooting him 20 times; then they blasted their way past dozens of police cars and disappeared into 10,000 square miles of the harshest wilderness terrain on the North American continent. Self-trained survivalists, the outlaws eluded the most sophisticated law enforcement technology on the planet and a pursuit force that represented more than 75 local, state, and federal police agencies with dozens of SWAT teams, U.S. Army Special Forces....

Not an Objective Account

This book is full of unfounded supposition after supposition and is an extremely slanted account of the story. I would love to have the time back that I wasted listening to this book.

Don’t Waste a Credit
Revisado: 09-22-22
This is an incredibly poorly written, simple story. Very predictable. I kept listening assuming at some point it would get better and not wanting to waste the time I had already invested listening to it. Too late now. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

Historia
In 1916, Sven Ormson leaves a restless life in Stockholm to seek adventure in Svalbard, an Arctic archipelago where darkness reigns four months of the year and he might witness the splendor of the Northern Lights one night and be attacked by a polar bear the next. But his time as a miner ends when an avalanche nearly kills him, leaving him disfigured, and Sven flees even further, to an uninhabited fjord. There, with the company of a loyal dog, he builds a hut and lives alone, testing himself against the elements.

I love outdoors adventures (especially in the arctic) but unfortunately gutted it out to the very end hoping it would get better. IT DID NOT. I hope you don’t make the same mistake.
