Always going to listen to humor books from now on!

I have wanted to read this book for some time. I’m so glad I decided to listen to it as an audiobook because it was incredibly fun to hear Aziz tell it in his voice-his jokes come across better and he even adds little things for listeners vs. readers. I plan to listen to any books by comedians in the future, especially if recorded by the comedian.

Might be better to read than listen-but maybe not!

I really enjoyed listening to this book. There were sections that were clearly sidebars/call-outs (recipes, etc.) and do I started to wonder if it would have been better to actually read this instead of listening to it.
But, the accent of the reader added to the feeling you were really getting a feel for hygge from a true Dane. His pronunciation of words was incredibly helpful (never would have said them that way in my head!) and his repetition of the word hygge and it’s other forms made it more easily roll off my tongue when talking about this book with friends.
