Historia
In today's fast-paced world of competitive workplaces and turbulent economic conditions, each of us is searching for effective tools that can help us to manage, adapt, and strike out ahead of the pack. By now, emotional intelligence (EQ) needs little introduction - it’s no secret that EQ is critical to your success. But knowing what EQ is and knowing how to use it to improve your life are two very different things.

Stop with the impressions
Revisado: 08-02-24
When a man imitates a female voice it is extremely off putting. It was very difficult to stay on topic and really hear the words when the narrator is imitating female voice. He would do better to just read the text as is without adding feminine flare to his voice. It was extremely distracting and came across as misogynistic and Demeaning in nature.

Writing style was all over the place
Revisado: 10-02-20
I really liked the book in the first half but then is tremendously slowed down. This book was written like a mystery but that was not the feeling through the whole novel. It would often jarringly switch from a character repeating obvious observations of another character to hyperbole on the wind or the night sky. The dialogue was very poorly written and really distracted from the story line.

Historia
Evelyn has been married to her husband for 40 years - 40 years since he slipped off her first wedding ring and put his own in its place. Delphine has seen both sides of love - the ecstatic, glorious highs of seduction, and the bitter, spiteful fury that descends when it’s over. James, a paramedic who works the night shift, knows his wife’s family thinks she could have done better; while Kate, partnered with Dan for a decade, has seen every kind of wedding - beach weddings, backyard weddings, castle weddings - and has vowed never, ever, to have one of her own.

Confused!?
Revisado: 10-08-16
The main character did not address a lot of her own questions leaving the reader frustrated and confused.
