Historia
Despite thousands of years of medical use and an impressive record of safety, versatility, and efficacy, Cannabis sativa has existed outside the modern pharmacopeia since the 1940s. Primarily driven by popular demand, this botanical has returned to health care, but most clinicians lack the knowledge essential for identifying candidates for treatment, guiding patients, maximizing benefit, and minimizing harm.

People need to read this to help dissipate the misinformation that has been dominant in this culture for decades. There are lots of case studies and much scientific information. A great reference to have on hand.

Historia
Hans-Georg Moeller has achieved the perfect blend with Daoism Explained. It is both a fascinating introduction on Daoist thought as well as an original and insightful contribution to Eastern philosophy. This book will take the place of The Tao of Pooh by Hoff. Like that book, Doaism Explained offers a comprehensive presentation of Daoist philosophy that is interesting and easy to follow.

Somewhere in the middle of the book, for about 10 seconds, I started to think "now I'm not so sure about..." Then he clarified the thought and I said "ah."

Historia
It's starting to happen everywhere, in business, social, and spiritual circles; people are discussing whether they are dealing with a problem at a "green" level or how they can try to see things from a "yellow" perspective. What do these colors mean? They're all a part of Spiral Dynamics, a sweeping view of human consciousness, taught by Dr. Don Beck, that has received Ken Wilber's "highest recommendation".

Historia
Eric didn't ask to be a vampire. In fact he didn't even believe in them. Biting your own tongue with your fangs does a lot of convincing. Even so, being a part-time undead isn't as easy as you might think. It can let you hold down a day job, true, but sometimes the night "life" can be more than a little difficult, what with those bloodthirsty urges and predatory instincts kicking in.

Once his training begins, one of the elusive and prophetic Trith appears to give Joe a spine chilling prophecy that the universe has been anticipating for millions of years: Joe will be the one to finally shatter the vast alien government known as Congress. And the Trith cannot lie...but first Joe has to make it through bootcamp.

Curious enough to get to the end
Revisado: 01-17-14
Would you try another book from Sara King and/or Liam Owen?
Unlikely, though I might consider one depending on my choices at the time and the description.
What do you think your next listen will be?
Words of Radiance
Would you listen to another book narrated by Liam Owen?
Yes, he did well enough to not complain—aside from the annoying and frequent bell dividing segments and the "speaking through the tube effect." I liked the audible cicadas at the beginning in the background. A nice touch though not enduring.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Forging Zero?
The frequent bell and the brief but overly descriptive segments of sexual attraction to young girls of the main character. I think this cheapened the entire story even though the main character was young.
Any additional comments?
It was a bit too pro-military for my taste, though if that is what you are into you may like it. Additionslly I thought it a bit immature even though the subject matter was about kids. Overall an interesting story but lacking in depth.
