Jenson shares her personal journey of healing from incest to joy, honestly and courageously. Her narrative serves as a window into the massive amount of effort, determination and perseverance it took to heal from incest and exemplifies the crucial part her intuition played in showing her the next step required on the journey. Jenson’s voice makes the book even more personable. The book serves as a testament to and guidepost for self-led healing and illustrates how valuable a close circle of support is. Using her voice was a poignant milestone in healing which lead her to create spaces for survivors to do the same. It is activism at its most meaningful. A realistic, tough, uplifting and inspiring read.
