i tried to quit listening twice...

it is hard to say I loved this book. it was depressing all the way. unfortunately, I know that this is some people's reality. i tried to quit listening twice for the language alone. I even did a google cuss count because there were so many! I googled the book to see how it ended. which made me want to finish it. I have just finished it. It is sad situations people find themselves in through their ignorance or no fault of their own. I am glad I finished. now, Demon, next time, let's try way way way less, cursing.

Not my favorite

i can't even finish it. I have liked every other book I have read by Lee Smith and recommended them to others but I just can't get all these parts of stories strung together. Add in the foul language and over exaggerated accents of the readers and I just gotta stop it.

I was left depressed and horrified every time I tried to listen! Do not know why anyone would enjoy reading or writing this type of book. But I guess that they're people who do!
