I love this one. I’ve annoyed the entire series and this one reminded me of another in the series that I will not reveal . The reminder was a great one and this new book is not a copy in any way. I missed Jenny Sterlin’s narration greatly but appreciate the new narrator as well. The character and setting (s) development in this series is superb (Laurie R King always serves a character and setting well but perhaps even more so here!?)

I have always wondered if it were possible to make a story true to life. If it were possible to capture the simple beauty of day to day failures and redemption without the overdramatization that seems constant in both fiction and nonfiction story telling. THIS story, I believe, captures the beauty and pain of life in the most realistic way I've read yet. I love many many books as I am sure you do; I would imagine any human would enjoy this book as it is just so HUMAN.
