lost me
Revisado: 12-17-24
I got lost too many times. not because of being confusing, but due to it not having any energy or passion. only a few moments had me hooked in. the rest of it.... I couldn't tell you what this was really about. maybe someone else may get more from it but I didnt enjoy it. get more passion and heart stopping action, then maybe the space story would do better next time.

hard to follow
Revisado: 01-28-23
I had a difficult time getting into this story. The actors were very distracting with their over acting. Their slurping and raspy voices kept it difficult to pay attention. I am saddened to say I'm not really sure what the story was about, besides the death of a baby...

Historia
From Steven Millhauser, the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of Martin Dressler and one of the most imaginative and essential voices of our time, comes a fable about a race of miniature people and the way of life they have come master within our own. By turns enchanting and provocative, The Little People explores the fascination and unease the little people create in us, examines our private desire to disappear into their world, and reveals what happens when our personal and romantic lives inevitably collide.

I liked it
Revisado: 01-23-23
I wasn't sure what to expect from thus story. It was Written and read in a flowing manner. There were a few times I wasn't sure where The story was going and it had potential of getting better but I felt it was too short but still had my attention.

Historia
A thousand years have passed since a dragon has been seen in the world. Science and technology have replaced magic, which has dwindled until it has become little more than an element of myth and legend. There are those who still have dragon blood flowing through their veins, distant descendants of the mighty creatures of old. These rare humans have the power to cast magic, the power to heal, and the power to craft alchemical weapons capable of starting wars...or ending them.

thumbs up
Revisado: 01-18-23
I was not really sure what to expect with this story line but I give it a thumbs up. The narrator Spoke a little slow some times which took away from it sounding like actual conversations between characters but her voice was cleand easy to listen to. I like the characters and story but there were a few parts that got slow and bright and a tad boring but other parts were action hat that kept me on the edge of my seat.

Not sure what to say
Revisado: 11-21-22
The part I did like about it it had numerous actors doing voice over switch helped. Unfortunately I was lost and confused and there were parts of the story that could have led to a great story but with all of the movements taking place between characters and story it was just hard to follow. Did not really care for it very much.

The plot of the story was interesting except it was distracting going back-and-forth from the current moment and the Flash to the past. It did that a little too much

I expected something totally different by the title of the book. It was not a bad story and I'm curious to see where it would have gone had it been longer. I was entertained by it.
