This is the book I've always wanted as a beginner. There is such a steep learning curve that it's nearly vertical and that has always been so frustrating but FINALLY a book that doesn't feel over my head and has provided me the starting point I always wanted. Thank You Frankie.

Disorganized

Although there appears to be great information in here, it is disorganized and quite repetitive. I wish a different structure was taken to present the information in a more precise manner.

Solid Companion to the Original

The book is pitched as a stand alone, however, in my opinion you would get much less from it in this way, it is best taken as a companion to the original.

The deep dive of each genre with multiple examples in each was extremely helpful in understanding these ideas expressed in the original book.

Intriguing Content, Inferior Narration.

The content of the book is good and most of it is easy to understand, and I'd recommend it to beginners or anyone with misconceptions about it.

However there should have been post production work on the narration as there is great fluctuations in the quality of his voice as well as loud hissing from his 'S's. Not the quality expected from something supposedly recorded in 2021.

Not Exhaustive Detail but Not Bad

Overall: good book. Get more than just an overview of Madison, however not exhaustive detail of the man. Would have liked more detail from his time as President but satisfied with the listen nonetheless.

Little Repetitive at Times.

Overall great book, although not as detailed as Washington, A Life by Ron Chernow or John Adams,
by David McCullough it is a little repetitive at times with points that could have been shortened as they have been repeatedly stated, while other areas could have used more detail.

Extremely Repetitive & Many Mispronounced Words

Very repetitive, not enough non-repetitive content to be three books. Most of each book is repeated in the other two books... MAYBE 2 and a half hours of the 6 and a half isn't repeated...
Could not imagine buying a physical copy of the book because of this, not worth the cost.
Also the Narrator mispronounced quite a lot of words.

Mouth Noises Ruin Audio

Saliva, wet mouth, clicks, lip smacks and loud breathing.

If you're into Mouth Sounds ASMR this will be a real treat for you.

If you're not, it will ruin a great, very detailed book.

I'm stunned that Simon & Schuster allowed this to be released.

Needs to be re-recorded.

Extremely Detailed

Very well written and Extremely Detailed.
Could be grueling for someone who isn't a fan of History.
However, for someone who is, this is the ideal book.

Better than expected!
This podcast is indeed quite vulgar, however, it is actually very funny and often thought provoking.

If you enjoy vulgar comedy this is 100% for you.

I personally believe they deserve more recognition/listens/downloads than they have.

It's also on all the other Podcast apps:
Apple, Spotify, Google, YouTube, Pandora and all those other ones.
