I devoured every word

As someone who has been following the UFO topic, physics, and studied mediumship and meditation, I found this book fascinating. Pasulka weaves various strands together from ufology, religion, philosophy, and more into a more nuanced understanding of the phenomenon. It’s refreshing to have scholarly minds covering the UFO topic as I have badly craved more well-researched perspectives on such a mind-blowing topic.

Game changing book

Ian Kerner is such a treasure trove of insight. As I navigate the dissolution of my marriage and look ahead to a future of new relationships, I looked to this book to gain insights on what I can improve about myself and how I relate to others. This book gave me everything I sought and more. I can already say it has immediately helped me connect better with others in every sense, not just sexually. I can’t wait to put his exercises into practice.

Beautiful tragic story

Loved everything except for the ending, which felt abrupt and out of keeping with the tone that had been developed. Too severe an end for such a beautiful character as Maggie. But maybe it’s just the optimist in me. If it weren’t for that I would’ve given the story 5 stars.

Fun book based on a fascinating concept

You won’t find any spoilers here, but I’ll just say I really enjoyed this book. Once you get going, it’s a real page turner.

My only distraction was the actual reader for this audiobook. She was not a trained actor as far as I could tell, and it took away from the material for me.

Couldn’t stop listening!

Why have I never heard about this book before? It was so much fun! I sat down in the morning to listen to it while I was eating breakfast, and I didn’t stop listening until I was heading to bed that night. Although the narrator is nothing to write home about, she is not distracting as some readers can be. She eventually just sort of fades into the background and lets the words tell the story. This book showed me a whole new side of Louisa May Alcott; the main character is a far cry from the wholesome characters in Little Women, and I did not mind the devilish romp at all.
