Historia
The signs are unmistakable, Momar isn't just targeting Austin's brother. When one of Momar's grunts breaks into Austin's territory looking to grab Jessie for questioning, Jessie and her crew realize they are under fire. In order to protect themselves, it becomes obvious they need backup. Thankfully, the basajaun's people have invited Jessie and her crew into the basajaunak lands. This is their golden opportunity to seek their help. The problem is, a host of mages and mercenaries are following them. Once they take Jessie this time it won't be just for questioning, and she won't be coming back.

3rd Time Listening To Both Versions.
Revisado: 04-20-25
I’ve bought both versions of all available books. Both dramatized adaptation and audiobook. The audiobook version is great and the adaptation is exceptional as well. Both are so hilarious. I can’t wait and hope Breene does do a hardcover for the books and anticipate the 11th book. Either version of the audio version is amazing. And as the dramatized versions come out, I’ll purchase them. I just kind of hated Austin and how he’s only nice to Jesse and kind of an asshole. He’s protective of her but mean to those who care for her. It’s slightly disgusting. It’s so fun re-listening to the books again. This series has brought me tears and happiness that makes this my favorite series. I hope we all give enough feedback so Breene will make a hard cover version. You won’t regret getting the dramatized and audiobook versions as they come out. Both are so wonderful in their own rights and give such different depths for each version. You’ll fall over laughing. And heal parts of you if you have ever been through anything Jess has been through. Breene is a genius in her own right and so happy they made audiobooks and dramatized adaptations for each book. Edgar, Mr.Tom, Nieve, the whole cast is amazing. Tristan and Nessa have also enticed me that I’m literally DYING for the next book and I miss Edgar and the Gnomes so much. Especially Ivys house’s humor.

Historia
Thirty-nine was a fantastic year. I was married to the man I loved. I had a body that worked without creaking. My grandma, who raised me, was still healthy, and life was pretty damned good. But as they say, all good things come to an end. One year later, I’m a widow. My joints are starting to ache. Gram is in the nursing home, and dead people think my home is some kind of supernatural bed-and-breakfast. Gluing body parts onto semi-transparent people has become a side job - deceased people I’m not even sure are actually there.

I Like The Concept
Revisado: 04-13-25
The book concept was good and entertaining. With some funny moments. But 70% is the main character talking or thinking to her self or what or what not she should do. The actual story or story line was great and only about 30% of the book. You would listen to 5 minutes of her annoying inner dialogue and 2 minutes of the story. So each interaction took way longer than needed to fill space and the book. I hope it get better but this author needs to do better. It’s like listening to someone just think and it’s god damn annoying.

The Ivy House team is shaping up, but there are still holes to be filled, and a magical summons outstanding. Jessie needs a teacher. Someone who can fit in with the whacky Ivy House crew. And that was going just fine...until she gets a request to host a powerful, neighboring mage. A teacher isn't going to be enough.

The decision has been made. Jessie has taken the magic and all the weird that goes with it. Including wings. There's only one problem - she can't figure out how to access them. Through a series of terrible decisions, Jessie realizes she must ask for help. Gargoyle help. But she could've never predicted who answers her call - he's an excellent flier, incredibly patient, and a good trainer. He's also incredibly handsome. And interested.

This woman and her damn questions.
Revisado: 04-06-25
Self preservation first. Questions later. Love the book though. I’m going to throw her out a window. I was happy with the saying in the beginning of the books and the characters and story line. But man, as funny as Defiance is, her name should be gullible. Or Defiance because she’s Defiance against her own existence. Jesus if this woman didn’t have other people in her life. She would just literally walk off a building and hoping she’ll fly 🤦♀️

Historia
Forty-something Defiance Dayne only recently discovered she comes from a long line of powerful witches. Added to that was the teensy, infinitesimal fact that she is what's called a charmling. One of three on the entire planet. And there are other witches who will stop at nothing to steal her immense power, which would basically involve her unfortunate and untimely death.

Werewolf Ben Rosewood is happy with his life. One hundred percent. His business, Ben’s Plant Emporium, is thriving, and he’s even expanding the shop. His anxiety disorder is…well, it’s been better, but that comes with the territory of running a business and having beastly urges every full moon, right? As for romance—who has the time? Though his family is desperate to see him settled, Ben is fine approaching forty as a single werewolf. But after drunkenly bidding on and winning a possessed crystal on eBay one night, he finds himself face-to-face with a beautiful yet angry vampire.

This Is Damn Funny, The Dynamic Is Gold!
Revisado: 03-30-25
Ben is so damn adorable. And Eleanor is so damn funny. Sarah has such a beautiful way to capture the reader with passion and humor. She knows how to drive emotions to the heart of the matter to make you feel what the characters are feeling and so descriptive. The first two books were so good but this one took on such a different tone because of the switch of roles and how sweet the guy is. I love her writings. I can’t wait to read more books and I hope Sarah writes more to this series. I DIED AT THE CHEESE. I FELL OVER LAUGHING. YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO KNOW WHAT I MEAN. And the interpretive performance, I choked on my own spit. I love Eleanor! WRITE MORE SARAH PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE WRITE MORE HUMOR!

I’m a lady, I don’t watch spice, I LISTEN TO IT! With a dash of good humor.
Revisado: 03-30-25
This book was funny and good. Loved the first book but the second was a different feel, still same humor. I can’t wait for the third book and Sarah’s new series. I hope there’s more but there is a good amount of chapters in these books and so much fun banter. They take some issues especially mother daughter dynamics, self worth, receiving love, self love, coercive abuse, and domestic violence that isn’t always able to be seen and a bunch of others. This made me feel seen with my own life. Sarah did such a good job. It’s kind of like the first book brushing on the topics but in such a funny way and at times freeing. I love how Sarah can make it like a live comedy show or a good therapy session. It’s so good. The first and this book gives ladies (at any age) some self touching reflections of self love in doses that need to be heard.

I Was About To Sell My Soul To A Demon
Revisado: 03-29-25
But then this book saved me and did it for me. I was in a slump and went through books like I do underwear but this holy grail shone a light from below and I was on the floor rolling with laughter. The banter and spicy innocence of this. I was so annoyed I keep buying books that I want to use as fire kindler but this beauty made my heart believe in miracles again. It’s so cozy and humorous with innuendo GOOD spice. Thank you god for 3 books of this. Can’t wait for the others. The best of all it mocks social issues and uses them in a laughable way in a good way. Omg and his accent when they do spicy has me dying. Sounds like an old lady but as man. Idk how to explain it, you just have to listen omg. This book had me in rolls!!! The spicy things are HILARIOUS. IM LITERALLY DYING.

It seems that Effie is out of luck until she stumbles into the faerie realm of Lord Blackthorn, who is only too eager to help her win Mr. Ashbrooke’s heart. All he asks in return is that Effie sew ten thousand stitches onto his favorite jacket.

I loved Olivia’s first book. This was so long and after 14 chapters in I couldn’t do it anymore. It’s just 14 chapter of stupidity and Effie injecting herself when she doesn’t need too. Just no. Performance is good, story is a no go.
