I found the narrator so whiney and annoying that I couldn't get past the 2nd chapter. Not sure about the story because I didn't really get into it, but it certainly wasn't compelling enough to pull me in despite the awful narration.

I love this story and was so happy to have it out on audio. However, I found the narration really disappointing. Justine Eyre's performance is very flat and fast, and she never seems to pause for a breath! I played the book at 80% speed which made it better.

Tessa Dare writes great witty dialog, and Ms. Wells' well nuanced reading makes it come alive. I've rarely heard an audio book that makes the book better that what I read in my head! Outstanding.
