This is one of the most gripping and heart-wrenching stories I’ve ever read. An excellent read that I could not stop listening to. I will recommend this to everyone. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The story was cute and entertaining. The narrators were great and really made the story for me, especially Shane East. Although to be fair, I think I could listen to him read a telephone directory. 🤤

This book was a beautiful, fictional twist on the story of a real woman in history. I really enjoyed the book, but the author’s note at the end really tied everything together in a neat bow for me! Loved it!

Funny, sweet, and sexy dark romance

Dark rom-com! This book had me cracking up and swooning at the same time. Definitely mind the trigger warnings! While this book isn’t the darkest of dark romances, it definitely is not for everyone. I adored Lachlan and Lark’s story and am looking forward to Brynne continuing the series with Fionn and Rose’s story! ❤️

Unique love story

This book was unexpected and different from other romance novels I’ve read. It went through so many stages of grief and also stages of growth for both Helen and Grant without being depressing, sappy, and unrealistic. Yulin brought this story to life. It was a beautiful but also sexy and funny at the same time! I really enjoyed reading!

The banter!

I loved Funny Story so much! I was completely immersed in the story of Daphne and Miles. I love how their friendship evolved from coconspirators to best friends that understand and see each other for who they really are even when they don’t see it themselves.
If Emily writes it, I’m going to buy it! I can go in completely blind on her books, knowing I’m going to love it, regardless of what is it about. The same goes for Julia Whelan as a narrator! Together they made this an easy 5-star audiobook. Emily writes banter like no other and when Julia narrates, I feel as if I’m there. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cute story

I really enjoyed this book. I found myself very annoyed during several points in this book, but it’s probably my own issues because I downloaded this book blindly not really knowing what to expect or that it was set in high school. The story was good, so I will give grace in what I felt Liz’s character was lacking and chalk it up to Lynn writing teenage idiocy extremely well! Overall, it was a really cute story.

I laughed, I cried, I LOVED this book!! I have never played chess, but this book made me want to find someone to teach me how. As usual, Ali knocked it out of the park!! (Unfortunately, my chess knowledge is nonexistent and after a few google searches, I am no closer to finding a chess move synonymous to a home run but if there is one- she definitely achieved it) ❤️❤️

A perfect murder-mystery rom-com!

I loved everything about this murder-mystery rom-com! It had a great story and the narration was absolutely perfect for this book. I was on the edge of my seat while I binge-listened to this book, waiting for answers. Adorable!!

I really wanted to love this book

I really wanted to love it because I devoured the first book, but this one took me weeks to finish. I just found myself bored throughout the whole thing. It ended well, so I will likely purchase book 3 to see where the story goes in hopes that this book was just laying the groundwork for book 3.
