Historia
Evangellyfish is a ruthless, grimly amused, and above all, honest look at one of the darkest corners in the western world. Douglas Wilson, a pastor of more than 30 years, paints a vivid and painful picture of evangelical boomchurch leadership...in bed. Chad Lester's kingdom is found in the Midwest. When Lester is (falsely) accused of molesting a young male counselee, his universe begins to crumble. He is a sexual predator, yes. But strictly straight. Detectives, reporters, assistant pastors, and old lovers and pay-offs all come out to play.

Fun story, read in dead pan though, Douglas is good enough to listen to, but the voices could have been expressed better.

Ray Bradbury warned of a world where our literary history is taken from us. In Burn the Ashes, some of the best science-fiction authors working today continue to explore the dystopic worlds they introduced in Ignorance Is Strength.

Highly political yet only in one direction.
Revisado: 07-16-22
This collection of stories and basically all liberal agenda. Some of them are fun and interesting and subtle about it, Some are simply obnoxious. Part of telling a story is having a thread of truth in it. I would venture to say that many of these lack that thread that makes things believable in an otherwise fantastic world. If you want some interesting listen I think the first few are pretty good, but after that they go down the tube pretty quickly.

A good story
Revisado: 06-13-22
I found it interesting and entertaining, I believe the prose is probably better in writing than in narration but thats just my opinion. Apparently there was some censorship of the n word, I didn’t notice on my first listen. I suppose it says something about our over polite culture.

Dark fantasy with some redeeming value
Revisado: 05-31-22
It was an entertaining ride, unlike many other dark fantasy stories this one is not pointless. It wasn’t to dark and too depressing just the right amount I give it an 8 out of 10

Historia
Calder has been declared Imperial Steward, the official successor to the Emperor. He leads the Empire from the throne, just as he has always wanted. In their tombs, the Great Elders stir. The crack in the sky becomes more alarming by the day, so Calder and his loyal Imperialist Guilds seek a truce with their Independent opponents. Both sides know the Elders are the true enemy, but that does not make peace easy. Blood has been spilled already, trust is hard to come by, and the Guild Heads under Calder see him as little more than a figurehead.

Good and I never read the other two before it
Revisado: 05-25-22
I got this book because it’s free with the membership. I don’t as worried that because it seems to be the last book in a trilogy I would be lost as to what’s going on. I wasn’t, it was an enjoyable book a 8.5 in my book not an epic masterpiece but something that will entertain you and make you feel better after reading.

Historia
John Perry did two things on his 75th birthday. First he visited his wife's grave. Then he joined the army. The good news is that humanity finally made it into interstellar space. The bad news is that planets fit to live on are scarce—and alien races willing to fight us for them are common. So: we fight. To defend Earth, and to stake our own claim to planetary real estate. Far from Earth, the war has been going on for decades: brutal, bloody, unyielding. Earth itself is a backwater.

bad then average
Revisado: 12-10-20
personal tast, I don't really like the childish humor. it got better as the story went on which redeemed it to three stars. its a little like the forever war or starship troopers only with out the meaningful ideas towards the end.
