Historia
As soon as she graduated from high school, Pamela Des Barres headed for the Sunset Strip, where she knocked on rock stars' backstage doors and immersed herself in the drugs, danger, and ecstasy of the freewheeling 1960s. Over the next 10 years she had affairs with Mick Jagger, Jimmy Page, Keith Moon, Waylon Jennings, Chris Hillman, Noel Redding, and Jim Morrison, among others. She traveled with Led Zeppelin; lived in sin with Don Johnson; turned down a date with Elvis Presley; and was close friends with Robert Plant, Gram Parsons, Ray Davies, and Frank Zappa.

Save your time and your money. I couldn't stand the narration; just listening to her voice drove me up the wall! She should stay away from singing also, wth was that even for?

Needed another narrator.
Revisado: 03-16-17
Would you try another book from Cynthia Luhrs and/or Kristina Blackstone?
Sure but I really disliked the narrator's male voice and her southern accent was WAY off! I had to quit listening several times because I couldn't stand it!
Would you be willing to try another book from Cynthia Luhrs? Why or why not?
Sure.
What character would you cut from A Knight to Remember?
I think they were all pretty necessary for the story.
Any additional comments?
This was a nice little story. No sex, which I didn't mind at all. Unfortunately, the narrator ruined the entire book. She (the narrator) doesn't have a bad voice but her character voices were absolutely horrible.

What disappointed you about My Heart's in the Highlands?
I think I could have enjoyed watching grass grow more than I enjoyed this book.
Has My Heart's in the Highlands turned you off from other books in this genre?
Never!
What three words best describe Kirsten Potter’s performance?
Not too bad.
Any additional comments?
I am not able to finish this book. It's boring me out of my mind! Next, I'm going to paint my room and watch it dry!

Historia
When Laurie was a little girl, she was forbidden to enter the room at the top of the stairs. It was one of many rules imposed by her cold, distant father. Now, in a final act of desperation, her father has exorcised his demons. But when Laurie returns to claim the estate with her husband and 10-year-old daughter, it's as if the past refuses to die. She feels it lurking in the broken moldings, sees it staring from an empty picture frame, hears it laughing in the moldy greenhouse deep in the woods.

WTH?
Revisado: 10-16-15
What did you love best about Little Girls?
The writing style. I really like this author. This is the 3rd book I've bought of his.
Who was your favorite character and why?
That's difficult to say. The main character was whiny to me. I didn't "feel" any chemistry between the main character and her husband and for the entire book I felt he was a bit of a loser and would stay with his wife due to the inheritance. I also couldn't help but wonder, why is the main character doing all the work in this house and the husband is not lifting a finger? I know the main character said it was her father's belongings and she needed to deal with them but I felt like he could have done a lot more than cut up a rug and drain a well. The 10 year old sounded and acted more like a 5 year old than a 10 year old; and a 10 year old getting her period...Why was that even necessary? I don't know where the writer was going with this piece of information because it had absolutely nothing to do with any of the story.
What three words best describe Cassandra Campbell’s voice?
Not too bad.
Who was the most memorable character of Little Girls and why?
I suppose the little girl next door. She was hauntingly spooky!
Any additional comments?
The ending? I have NO clue. It just stopped. I have no idea what happened to the daughter, the husband, the little girl next door or the main character; but especially the daughter. And what on earth was the deal with the room upstairs that was always locked. The writer put so much emphasis on that room but never explained what the deal with the room was. Why was it off limits to her growing up? Why was it a "bad place"? I would love for someone who "got it" to clue me in (especially the ending with Susan), that way, maybe I won't feel like I just wasted a good credit. Other than the ending, which was so disappointing I'm not even sure I'd recommend this book to anyone, I really do like this author. I don't know what it is about his writing style that peaks my interest, it just does.

Historia
Ten years after disappearing from Antietam, Maryland, the bad boy has come home. Cleaned up and successful now - though still dangerously good-looking - Rafe MacKade sets the town on fire…and tongues wagging. Not even lovely newcomer Regan Bishop is immune to his charms. Though Regan claims to not want to get involved with a rebel, Rafe's pretty sure that her reaction to their sizzling kisses suggests otherwise.

SPOILER!!! Why so mean & nasty?
Revisado: 06-02-14
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
Someone used to mean, nasty and verbally abusive men.
Has The Return of Rafe MacKade turned you off from other books in this genre?
I haven't decided. I might do one more from the series but if the Jared is as mean as Rafe, I'm moving on.
How could the performance have been better?
I didn't dislike the narrator. I didn't particularly care for the voice of Rafe and his brother, Devin the Sheriff.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Return of Rafe MacKade?
Just about all the scenes which included Rafe.
Any additional comments?
I couldn't stand Rafe. I found him to be very mean and bitter towards life in general and the story gave no real reason why he was that way. I found him to be almost as bad as the wife beater in the story; the only difference is Rafe used words, not fists. I pretty much found him repulsive. He is like this literally until the last five minutes of the book. I did however like the "ghost" parts but then again, there was no real conclusion to this either.

Narrator ruined it
Revisado: 07-14-13
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
Do NOT waste a credit listening to his narrator. The story was good but the narrator was horrible. I couldn't understand anything the heroin said. I had to listen over and over and I still didn't get half of what she said. Read this one, you will probably enjoy the story but not listening to it!
Who was your favorite character and why?
The brother!
How could the performance have been better?
ANOTHER NARRATOR!
Any additional comments?
It's a shame that "they" ruin a good book with an awful narrator.

Love it!
Revisado: 03-18-13
If you could sum up Then Came You: Gambler of Craven's Series, Book 1 in three words, what would they be?
Got Chemestry? YES!!!!!!
What was one of the most memorable moments of Then Came You: Gambler of Craven's Series, Book 1?
Way too many to sum it down to just one. I did like the moment he proposed though. Cleverly done! "How about THIS house?" :)
What about Rosalyn Landor’s performance did you like?
She pretty good with the exception of the male voices. Not bad enough to make me dislike it, just not very masculine or sexy.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Many!
Any additional comments?
I love, love, love, loved this book! From almost the very beginning it was fantastic. Not very often do you find the chemistry between the hero and hereon this good. Its just hard to re-create in a book but the banter between these two and the comedy is outstanding. Not over-done sex scenes either! I've read several of LK's books (well had them read to me) and this one is by far my fave. I couldn't help but laugh out loud several times. The hereon is quite feisty and she gives the hero hell but he loves her anyway!

Top 3!

The ending of course.
Which character – as performed by Phil Gigante – was your favorite?
Drustan.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Love survives the test of time!
Any additional comments?
So far this is the BEST of the Highlander series. I've still got the last one to go, which by the reviews I've read, I think its going to be even better but I'm not sure how it could be! I'm looking forward to the last book of the series but am also sad that the series is ending.
