This is the best Stephanie Plum book I’ve read in a long time. Perhaps the best ever. The story is a departure from the most of the earlier stories. More dangerous. Way too funny. I couldn’t stop laughing. Give me more Ranger. I can’t find anything I didn’t like about the book. I salute you Janet!!

I Bowed!!

I loved-d-d this book. It is very well written and sometime deliriously funny. The characters are well fleshed out (I could actually create a vision of all the characters in my mind). Thane is yummy . Well to be truthful, all the elven men are dreamy. I don't usually start the second of in a series, but I did start Long Live the Elf Queen immediately after finishing this one. One caution, the audio version was anywhere between 2 or three lines ahead of the e-book by the end of the story 2 full screens. Its frustrating. Since I like immersion reading and the narrators are wonderful, I ended up having to read on my Kindle and listen on my phone. The narrators are that good.

I loved the book. It is a sensitive story about the result of a one-night-stand. The main characters, Pixie and Tor are well written and both are likable, even Tor (surprising). I wouldn't bother with the narration, though. The narrator does a good female dialog voice, but, terrible male. Trying to imitate a male voice, she made Tor sound whiny. He made have been a tortured soul, but, he was certainty not whiny. I almost returned the audio, but, I have gotten through most of the book before I realized how fed up I was with the narration. I don't like returning books when I have consumed over half of it. I did check the next book in the series to see if it had the same narrator. It did, so I return that one. Since I enjoyed the story I will read it again, maybe next year, to better enjoy it.

Should have used a male for the male role

The story was great and a new take on the vampire romance story. Ms Larkin did well on the female and child roles but she should refrain from doing males. Way too scratchy.

A well put together story

This is a 5-book series, but, this book (Book 4) seemed the most compelling from the blurb (I usually start series at the beginning, this is the 2nd series I've started at the end or near end. What's happening to me?! ). The series is centered around 5 half-siblings, who didn't grow up together, but find family and the way they found true love. This book (the 4th), is a story of a man's 2nd chance at love, or should I say, 1st chance at finding what love really is. It is well thought out and written. A great read and listen.

A great ending to a series

Really good story. The southern twang and get-ups were slightly annoying by the end, but it was such a short read. So, it was OK! I decided that I really like Kristen Ashley storytelling, so I will read more of her books. Funny, I think this is the last book in the series, now I'm think I will go to the beginning.

Strangers is A-1!!

You would think, after reading the previous 25 books in the series I would be tire of Eve Dallas and Roarke. There you would be wrong. Strangers in Death is just as fresh and interesting. J. D. Robb's main characters stay true from book 1 to book 26. I love that Eve has grown over the years. She is a strong woman make even stronger by the relationships she has been roped into. Eve and her husband "Ace" Roarke's marriage grows richer with book.The plot is one of J. D. Robb's best yet. I'm looking forward to the next 15 or so books. Susan Ericksen is an amazing narrator. 24 stars for Janet Evanovich!

Ms. Evanovich is back on top! Several of the middle teen numbered books got a little boring, but the last few were great. The main characters in series are all funny and each have their moments. Stephanie and Lula are a riot. Stephanie and Joe are good together, but I miss Stephanie and ranger. That "Babe." just sends thrills through me. This plot is a winner. With the zombie craze all the rage today, the plot is hilarious twist. Lorelei King is one of the best narrators out there. Amanda Quick is back!!!

What a great story. My problem was with the narration. The performer made most of the characters sound like he or she was shouting. Only the hero, heroine, and villain spoke in a normal tone of voice. Other than that, I say Amanda Quick is back on her stride. #tagsgiving #sweepstakes #Clever #Suspenseful #Witty
