Links to included worksheets do not work.
Revisado: 11-19-24
I primarily purchased this for the supplemental worksheets. The pdf downloadable from Audible contains links to resources, not the resources themselves. Links which no longer work. I would ask for a refund if I hadn't already listened to the whole book before trying to download the supplemental content.
The reading voice is slow and monotonous at normal speed, but isn't bad when played at 1.2x speed. It actually sounds a bit like Mike Rowe when played at 1.2x speed.

Includes access to online assessment AND e-book.
Revisado: 10-30-24
Immediately after purchasing this audiobook I received an email with a unique access code to take the test on the Gallup site. After creating an account there and taking the test, I was surprised to find the e-book available for download at no additional cost on the resources tab of the Gallup site. I bookmarked my top 5 traits in the Audible app and listened to them on a walk. Overall this is a very good value for access to the test, the audiobook, and e-book. I am glad I bought the audible version since it ended up coming with the e-book anyway.

Just buy a book of quotes.
Revisado: 08-13-21
I didn't make it past the third or fourth chapter. I'd take a break for a day or two and try again, but then could still only tolerate a minute. Every few sentences is an inspirational quote from famous person, but in the form of characters reciting the quote from a famous person.....and sometimes it is a character quoting another character quoting a famous person. If you take that out, what is left feels like typical corporate sales-force motivational drivel (as do the quotes). I should have read the reviews instead of looking at the number of stars. I didn't think the narration was all that bad.

Historia
Sleep is the subject of intense scientific debate among biologists and neuroscientists. Why must we spend about one-third of our lives asleep? What exactly is sleep? Why does a lack of sleep impair our cognitive abilities and leave us vulnerable to a host of medical issues ranging from obesity to reduced resistance to infectious disease?

This is what to listen to BEFORE you see a doctor!

Comprehensive.
Revisado: 08-06-18
This book is a series of lectures and is over 12 hours long. The information most people would want is in the first few hours. It is so thorough that the lecture format can get to be a slog, but it is worth it if you wish to obtain a deeper understanding of sleep without skipping over any aspects. Information is presented in depth, rather than being superficially referenced like a mass market book would do.
