Historia
With the failure of Hadley's Hope, Weyland-Yutani has suffered a devastating setback - the loss of the Aliens they aggressively sought to exploit. Yet there's a reason the Company has risen to the top of the food chain. True to form, they have a redundancy already in place: the facility known as "The Cold Forge". Remote station RB-232 has become their greatest asset in weaponizing the Xenomorphs. However, when Dorian Sudler is sent to RB-232 to assess their progress, he discovers that there's a spy aboard - someone who doesn't necessarily act in the company's best interests.

A new Jedi an old Jedi
Revisado: 01-21-21
this is a good start to a new series The beginning is a little rough it introduce so many characters so many Jedi's at the same time. I thought the story was good I thought it developed well and it gives us a new idea about the Jedi some will like it some won't but open up yourself to this. it is a period of time that we know nothing about the Jedi. The Jedi in this book are discovering more ways to use the force so we are not accustomed to these kind of Jedi's and Jedi Masters. Overall thought it was great I'm looking forward to finishing the series I am an old school Star Wars fan and for me to like this book it really says a lot. so go in with an open mind to a new adventure and learn about the Jedi that were 400 500 years before The Phantom Menace . and with all things new it takes a while to get into the story and figure out what's happening and who the characters are but it was a very good listen and again the performance in this book is of Star wars quality.

OMG this book needed an Editor
Revisado: 12-13-15
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
I made my self listen to the whole book I am never a quitter even though I wanted to. The detail of this book was so great I did not care what happen to the characters. There was so many characters I could not keep up. This book was written very beautifully written but my goodness it was way too long. Could lose a hundred pages or more to tell the story .
Has City on Fire turned you off from other books in this genre?
I am not sure where it would fit it part mystery part drama, and part soap opera
What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
They were all very good
Could you see City on Fire being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
I sure it will be but trust me it will be awful. I just wasted 30 days listening to this book that is about all I am willing to waste . If made into a series or movie count me out .
Any additional comments?
Yes, first of all the story was to long and there was no big pay off in the ending. I wont discuss it here but trust me when you find out the ending you go I wasted 36 hours for this. Parts of the book was great but a lot of it was just a waste. There were no characters to root for they all seemed so dispersed with their life that as a listener you wanted them all go to group therapy and the therapist would say “get over it welcome to life.” The three stars is for the narrators of this book. I read in a lot of areas and have been an book reader since 1977 but what would help this book is a editor that’s would help shape this book into greatness.

a good end to the EU before Disney hit the reset
Revisado: 06-03-15

A great good bye to a wonderful EU. All the characters have a happy ending.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Crucible: Star Wars?
The last few pages of the characters saying good bye and moving on. The publisher must have had a heads up with what Disney was planning and had the good sense to give us loyal EU reader an ending
Have you listened to any of Marc Thompson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
He is great he is the voice of Star Wars
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Just that this was the end of this timeline. I have been reading EU since the beginning.
