Historia
This week hasn’t gone the best for me unless you count Casimir, the sexy ancient vampire, bringing me back from the brink of death (and tying my fate to his in the process). Not that it matters if the werewolves and vampires don’t stop their ridiculous feud, because someone is targeting them and widening the divide between our communities with each body they leave in their wake. But as the alpha’s son, I have a plan to fix everything. I’m going to convince Casimir to fake date me to show the others that we can work together. I mean… what could go wrong?

Disappointed
Revisado: 11-19-17
This is the first Mary Calmes book I’ve been disappointed in. It felt like she wrote it because she couldn’t think of anything else to do that day which is disappointing. Her books have usually got a better story line something that keeps you wanting more. This was just a “poor me he broke my heart now He wants you back and he’s dominating so ya have to you got no choice” if I wanted to listen to a story like that I read mills and boon.. or watch a corny rom com.
I hate writing this as I own all of mary books I thought it was the way I was reading it so I bought the audio as I love both but even Greg trembly made Hagen sound like a defenceless chick not an ex marine going through hard times.. the only reason I finished it was because I liked the other characters in the book I looked forward to reading/listening to them which is sad but being in Hagen head was sooooo repetitive fuckkk we get it.
I know Mary writes good HEA but I think a good end would have been for these guys not to have gotten together be good friends yes but for Mitch to realise yep I fucked up I’m sorry and no I don’t deserve you.. Maybe Ashes character not been such a duche or for Hagen to follow him for a few years make a silly decision and then think about Mitch deserving a second. but no we just had the usual boring push till ya get ya own way. I just think it was to easy for Mitch real life is not like that.
Again hated writing this but thought it needed to be done.

Wonderful !!!
Revisado: 10-02-15
I read this book when it was first published and loved it.. But listening to the audio made it so much better.. I think K C kelly was the best narrator for this story. He bought the story more to life I don't know how he read it with out crying his voice's bought so much emotion when reading I never cried so much when listening to a book. It was a while ago when I read this book but I don't remember ever shedding a tear so that's why I say the narrator really gives this book it's five star. Don't get me wrong the story line is fantastic the author really did her homework awesome job you will not regret the credit or dollars you spend..

It was an easy listen good drama action a great start to the series I hope all the books will be in audio...
Narration was good really enjoyed, as this is first time I have heard from this narrator I was a bit iffy in buying but have to say I really was happy with the work he did.
I'm not sure what the other reviews were about, yes it wasn't the best story for this author but what do you expect for vampire story they are all corny when it comes down to the HEA, I would listen or read again I think it's just the beginning for these characters and there is so much more to tell..
Awesome work please put the rest of this series in audio as you can't have the teaser at the end of this and not finish..

Great start to the series I have read the books but love audio so had to listen and didn't disappoint, at first I was a bit iffy on the sound affects with this narrative as it's the first book I have listen to with it but you get past it and I have never been a fan of duel narration but they did awesome in this.. It worked well because it was read in main character POV by the male and the women's voice was only used when females were talking so it worked well I very much enjoyed it this way wish more books were read this way but it can only work when it's just one POV I don't think it can work otherwise..
All in all fantastic narrators awesome author great story

It took me along time to want to hear this book as I hate it when HEA don't work out and I don't want to see heart break in anyone.. But then I said to myself it's Mary calmed what could go wrong.. And of course I wasn't disappointed again she brings out the the good in people when ya just want to hate them..
Love the short story and Tristian James yet again does justice another reason for the purchase..

A nice romantic tear ya heart strings emotional roller coaster ride!!
This story wasn't just another cowboy meets city boy love story this had drama with a difference.. If that makes any sense with out giving away the story as I hate spoilers in reviews.
At first I thought the narrator made the characters sound a bit backwards with the slow drawls in the accents and I wasn't happy with it as it was my first time listening to K C Kelly.. But I have since listened to other works he has done and loved him ..so I went and listened to this book again and it made me love the book even more as I found that it wouldn't have worked with someone who couldn't speak the other languages in this book.. He done an excellent job..

Just WoW!!!
Revisado: 02-17-15
I kept skipping over this in my recommendation until I read the reviews as I never heard or read anything from these authors..
I'm sooo glad I took the gamble, not only is there a great storyline that kept you listening till the end but each character written had there own individual personalities which I liked, as some stories you read can tend to repeat personalities.
I think the narrator helped a lot with this he was awesome from his accents to the emotional tones he used for both main characters and secondary characters..I have to say that Dex is up there with Tristian James, KC Kelly and Paul Morey in reading M/M genre.. ( they are my fav)..
I'm not going to write anything about this story as I hate spoilers when reading reviews and there wasn't a cliff hanger but the only negative thing I have to say is waiting for the next book in this series to come out in audible.. I can usually wait but with this series I'm going to go buy the books and read them as I just have to find out what happens to Remy And James.
All in all fantastic
