I love Lysa's heart and vulnerability and have listened to many of her books. This book was was the hardest to get through (I could only listen to little chunks at a time as opposed to hours on end like her other books) because I very disappointed that Lysa didn't read it herself. She's read all her other books that I've listened to and I have listened to them all multiple times. This reader talked too fast, but when I slowed it down to 75, it was too slow. I just didn't care for the reader and would love to see Lysa re-record this book herself. It's always so much more meaningful when the author reads their own book because their heart and emotions really come through.

I love all of Sheila's books and so appreciate her heart. I just wish she would have read the book instead of someone else. The words carry so much more weight, depth and meaning when the author reads it with their transparent emotions and experiences reflecting in their voice. 💗
