Historia
As the Nazis tighten their chokehold on the capital, panic and paranoia fester as blackout is rigidly enforced. Every night the city is plunged into an oppressive, suffocating darkness - pitch perfect conditions for unspeakable acts. When a young woman is found brutally murdered, it's up to Criminal Inspector Horst Schenke to solve the case quickly. His reputation is already on the line for his failure to join the Nazi Party. If he doesn't solve the case, the consequences could be fatal.

British Accent vs German?
Revisado: 03-05-25
I found it odd that the performance made the characters sound more British than German

This disastrous act led to warfare in the Roman Empire and the death of the Emperor Valens. So tedious and slow
Revisado: 07-22-24
A lot of everyday tedious details with a 3 minute action scene thrown in every 45 minutes or so.

Historia
Golan Trevize, former councilman of the First Foundation, has chosen the future, and it is Gaia. A superorganism, Gaia is a holistic planet with a common consciousness so intensely united that every dewdrop, every pebble, every being, can speak for all - and feel for all. It is a realm in which privacy is not only undesirable, it is incomprehensible. But is it the right choice for the destiny of mankind? While Trevize feels it is, that is not enough. He must know.

The worst performance I have ever heard in an audiobook. Every character sounds the same, flat, monotone and completely dead
Revisado: 03-26-22
A computer or robot could have Dona better job that the performer. Totally unbearable completely devoid of feeling, inflection or emotion totally unbearable and I can’t find another performer for this book so frustrating

Paying for a great book one credit paying for a third of a book (novella) still one credit and not going to happen ever again
Revisado: 01-19-21
Novella is the term used to sell you less than you paid for while not having to say so

To solidify his claim, Erik ruthlessly disposes of all claimants to his throne, save one: his youngest brother Hakon. Might be a great story, but I will never know
Revisado: 07-18-19
The narrator is terrible. Stressing every third word or ending of a sentence and then a soars stop and pause distracts from every moment of the story so much I had to stop before the end of the first chapter. I have several hundred books and I have only return 3 now this one will be the fourth.
