Thorough interpretation of our present day and age, I absolutely loved it
Revisado: 11-23-18
Having read his last book on the history of mankind, I was wondering if he would do as good a job on presenting the reader with yet another thorough take on what now is this day and age. You are lucky, this one is again an absolute masterpiece i.m.o.
As a mechanical engineer and IT student, I was yet again fascinated by the amount of work that went into creating this book with it’s pleasant story format, yet containing all these facts about presently evolving topics, many of which have a complicated scientific background, and making it as digestible as it is. I have absolutely loved it for the entirety of it’s playtime, and recommend to young and old, and certainly and mostly anything in between

Historia
Most books about the history of humanity pursue either a historical or a biological approach, but Dr. Yuval Noah Harari breaks the mold with this highly original book. From examining the role evolving humans have played in the global ecosystem to charting the rise of empires, Sapiens integrates history and science to reconsider accepted narratives, connect past developments with contemporary concerns, and examine specific events within the context of larger ideas.

Historia
There just isn't enough time for everything on our to-do list - and there never will be. Successful people don't try to do everything. They learn to focus on the most important tasks and make sure those get done. They eat their frogs. There's an old saying that if the first thing you do each morning is eat a live frog, you'll have the satisfaction of knowing you're done with the worst thing you'll have to do all day. For Tracy, eating a frog is a metaphor for tackling your most challenging task - but also the one that can have the greatest positive impact on your life.
