Interesting content
Revisado: 03-27-24
I thought the content was well researched. The narration was frequently cringe-worthy, like little children are the intented audience.

Abominable narration
Revisado: 02-18-24
The content was likely solid but the reviewer will notice the common thread amongst the reviews: a narration so exceptionally awful that it distracts from the content itself.

Historia
In this award-winning Audible Studios production, Trevor Noah tells his wild coming-of-age tale during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa. It’s a story that begins with his mother throwing him from a moving van to save him from a potentially fatal dispute with gangsters, then follows the budding comedian’s path to self-discovery through episodes both poignant and comical.

A unique and empowering story
Revisado: 09-04-20
This book had everything: incredible stories, humor, and truly inspiring characters. Trevor Noah’s unique background and keen insights challenge all of us to dissect our own worldviews and deconstruct the man made concepts of black and white, right and wrong. Trevor’s mother Patricia emerges as the hero in his story, and we will be better people if we dare to emulate her strength of character and positivity. Few books have changed me like this one.
