Historia
Why we think it’s a great listen: You thought he was a stodgy scientist with funny hair, but Isaacson and Hermann reveal an eloquent, intense, and selfless human being who not only shaped science with his theories, but politics and world events in the 20th century as well. Based on the newly released personal letters of Albert Einstein, Walter Isaacson explores how an imaginative, impertinent patent clerk became the mind reader of the creator of the cosmos.

Science imagination and humility
Revisado: 01-27-22
Those are the qualities of Einstein. Until the epilogue, this books shows it. In the epilogue the author says it.
What is talent? I define it as the ability to do something easily without hard work. Then those who are hard workers are motivated but this skill that comes naturally to them, they work hard at it and do great things.
The author, Walter Isaacson, seems to think that creativity is related to non conformity. Add humility and that keeps the creativity going.
I’ve read all his books and that seems to be a theme. Or that seems to be what he looks for in choosing a subject for his books. Steve Jobs existed at the intersection of art and technology.
The Ben Franklin book is also good.
I wonder why he has not done a book on Thomas Edison. Maybe he feels that there already are a lot of books on him so it’s not needed.
Incidentally, I only gave it 4 stars for story. It does t try to write it as a movie with a clean story. It’s a book. An interesting example is the Steve Jobs book and the Steve Jobs movie. Aaron Sorkin felt compelled to give it an overall story line, and in that way departing from the book. But the books gives the details that shows the man. The movie is good but has the screenwriters contrivance. It lacks the humility of the book.

Motivational but not much information
Revisado: 12-11-17
He seems like a pleasant guy. Nice voice. Positive attitude.
And it’s true that there are opportunities to make and market an micro low budget film outside the studio system. But where is the I formation.
It’s like listening to a high school cheerleaders sing “you can do it. You can do it. You can do, do,
Do it. “
Pleasant. But where’s the content.
Qualification: I only listened to the first two chapters. Maybe there’s more as it goes on. But how long do we have to wait?
