I kept searching for a sequel! This was just a great book complete with everything you could want in a sci-fi book: alien technology, an evil genius you love to hate, etc. I really enjoyed this book. Even months later when I think about it, I’m reminded of the weird little psychedelic rocktopi and the creepy droid-like robot flying spies and I remember how this book occupied my brain for a while!

Spectacular. As usual, terrific character development, twists and turns, and in the midst of all of it, wry humor that made me laugh. Tommy always cracks me up. Cannot say enough good things about this series and this book.

What a fun and magical listen!

I loved this book! I found myself wishing the author had written more books about the Mystwick school and about musicraft in general. It was so creative and fun, and kept me very interested the whole time.
The narrator was great, good job doing different characters and their accents.

This was great, and I'm glad there's now a sequel (which is great too). It's graphic, which is kind of disturbing, but it's a relief when the bad guys get their just desserts. Great romance and tension.

This story grips you. Great characters, and well-written. Terrific performance by Connor Hall, he's great with accents, intonation, and overall voices. I found myself feeling frustrated with Dylan, but later in the book I understood more. Would have liked more backstory from his childhood.
This was less gruesome than Hunter, but still very engaging. I normally listen when I'm on my weekly 1.5-hour drive, but this book found me listening at home too to see what was going to happen!
Can't wait for the next one to come out!
