Zapata - Queen of the Slow Burn - does it again!

The author always impresses on the sports subject matter expertise. Great story line and character development with strong supporting cast. As with all her slow burn romances, the flow is good.
Several laugh out loud moments that had subway riders taking a second glance at me.

2 Hot Men with Difficult Pasts = Great Listen

Author introduces just the right amount of character development and history detail to feel attached early in the romance. Good flow and additional supporting cast. Lots of hot M/M scenes.
Hamilton and Morgan are favorite narrators, they don't disappoint. The only reason I did not give 5-stars for performance is due to the audible inserts that do not match the existing tone. Not sure, what was driving the new inserts; new additions? Luckily, with these two performers, it can be overlooked.

Another Win!

Whitney G. is a terrific author - I have been waiting for her next book. If you have not listened to the other books, do so now -- You will not be disappointed. Reasonable Doubt and Turbulence are my favorites. I don't normally like short <5 hour listens but I knew I could trust the author.
I have also been waiting for another narration from Joseph Discher, another good job. Erin is phenomenal as usual.
Enjoyable love story listen that keeps you captivated until the end.

Big fan of the author but the narrator spoke so fast it prevented a true attachment to the story. I kept checking to see if the speed was accidentally increased, even tried to decrease.

Frustrating Indecisiveness towards the end.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
The beginning and middle were good but getting to the end was frustrating as both characters lost their strong well and became cripplingly insecure and indecisiveness.... I found myself saying 'just say it' over and over.
If you’ve listened to books by Louise Bay before, how does this one compare?
Not as good. Absolutely loved King of Wall Street and Indigo Nights.
What does Sebastian York and Saskia Maarleveld bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
York ALWAYS DELIVERS - a fav! First time listening to Saskia, she was good and it was nice and different to hear an English accent.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
No, I would be screaming at the screen towards the end.

What did you love best about Sincerely, Carter?
Storyline is young and sweet, best friends that finally turn that corner and look at each differently in their final year of college and figure out how to move forward.
Who was your favorite character and why?
They are both captivating but Carter's commitment to support and endure is alluring and attractive.
Which character – as performed by Joseph Discher and Jennifer O'Donnell – was your favorite?
Narration for both characters was incredible! Love the childhood flashbacks. So disappointed that I could not find any others reads by Joseph Discher.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Such an easy and enjoyable listen that I finished it in one sitting.
Any additional comments?
This listen takes a cliché storyline but keeps it fresh, sweet and steamy.

Zapata books are a favorite, great stories and characters but I went back to listen and they updated the narration.... same narrator but she did a much better job in the original.
