Historia
In "Center of the Universe", God struggles to balance the demands of his career with the needs of his long-term girlfriend. In "Magical Mr. Goat", a young girl's imaginary friend yearns to become more than friends. In "Unprotected", an unused prophylactic recalls his years spent trapped inside a teen boy's wallet. The stories in Simon Rich's new audiobook are bizarre, funny, and yet...relatable. Rich explores love's many complications--losing it, finding it, breaking it, and making it--and turns the ordinary into the absurd.

Historia
Be Straight with Me is an unforgettable memoir-in-verse about a love that blurs the boundaries of gender and sexuality - told from the perspective of a young, straight woman who finds herself in a serious relationship with her gay male best friend. With unabashed honesty and piercing emotional clarity, Emily Dalton brings to life this timely, true story about a nonconforming romance and its consequences.

When comes the movie/series?!
Revisado: 05-20-20
I’m not a voracious poetry reader but the description and mesmerizing cover caught my eye so I decided to give it a go. I’m glad I did because wow! This has got to be the most unique true love story I’ve come across. The author provides so much depth and honesty and color. It’s truly refreshing. I love when memoirs read like fiction. And while I listened to the audiobook you can tell the non-rhyme verse structure really draws out the emotion in my opinion. It’s perfectly welcoming to both poetry and non-poetry readers. Also the narrator does a good job of making it sound like prose. But more poetic? I see she did The Fault In Our Stars too. I wonder if this one will ever be made into a movie or series. I’d watch for sure.
