Historia
Being in a relationship without knowing how to share your feelings and receive your partner’s feelings in useful ways is like jumping into a pool without knowing how to swim. You can flail around all you want, but it’s not going to keep you afloat for very long—you need to be able to move in any direction at will. Like swimming, knowing how to share your feelings and respond to your partner's feelings will move your relationship in the direction you want: toward more intimacy, closeness, connection, and trust.

Historia
Mickey Gibson, single mother and former detective, leads a hectic life similar to that of many moms: juggling the demands of her two small children with the tasks of her job working remotely for ProEye, a global investigation company that hunts down wealthy tax and credit cheats. When Mickey gets a call from a colleague named Arlene Robinson, she thinks nothing of Arlene’s unusual request for her to go inventory the vacant home of an arms dealer who cheated ProEye’s clients and fled.

I expected better
Revisado: 07-10-23
I have read a lot of David Baldacci books and have loved them. This was only an okay story. Certainly not a thriller. I thought the addition of small children was unnecessary and tedious. I do have children and I can relate to the working mom aspect but it was boring to hear about. My biggest complaint and the real reason for writing this review is that the voices of Corey Carthew were AWFUL. So bad, that if we hadn’t been on a 9 hour car trip and I hadn’t already wasted a credit on the book, we would have stopped listening.

Historia
For the first time ever, founder of Sprinkles Cupcakes, Candace Nelson, is sharing the recipe for success in her new book, Sweet Success. She will walk you through the steps she took to build a globally beloved brand, so you can do it too. Although she deals in frosting, there’s no sugarcoating here. Candace pushes back the kitchen door to reveal mistakes, misses, and lessons learned the hard way. Sweet Success dispels the myth that entrepreneurship is reserved for an elite few and is a must-have for anyone with a passion needing a place to start.
