Historia
On July 9, 1755, British and colonial troops under the command of General Edward Braddock suffered a crushing defeat to French and Native American enemy forces in Ohio Country. Known as the Battle of the Monongahela, the loss altered the trajectory of the Seven Years' War in America, escalating the fighting and shifting the balance of power. An unprecedented rout of a modern and powerful British army by a predominantly Indian force, Monongahela shocked the colonial world.

One of the best books I’ve read
Revisado: 10-01-21
This book is OUTSTANDING! The painstaking research into first hand accounts from both British and French sources really helps to analyze and understand Braddock’s defeat in a new light.
The authors writing style is very descriptive and paints and vivid picture of the realities of the conflict in such a way that would rival the most seasoned storyteller. The chapter on the actual battle was so vivid I could close my eyes and picture it as described.
For anyone interested in military history particularly the French and Indian War or military logistics this is a MUST read!
I hope the author is working on his next book!

Historia
American society has become anti-male. Men are sensing the backlash and are responding. They're dropping out of college, leaving the workforce, and avoiding marriage and fatherhood at alarming rates. The trend is so pronounced that a number of books have been written about this man-child phenomenon, concluding that men have taken a vacation from responsibility. But why should men participate in a system that seems to be increasingly stacked against them?

Definitely worth the read (listen) to any man
Revisado: 09-02-21
While the voice is somewhat reminiscent of the Siri automaton computer generated voice, the content of the book and value of knowledge is well conveyed.
Lots of statistics and data to backup the authors findings and they are remarkably accurate even some 10 years later.
Any young man should read this book prior to considering marriage/kids. Women might also benefit from this as they could get a flavor for what men are experiencing and why they act the way they do.
The book could have gone even more in depth and been twice the length with perhaps some more detailed legal strategies or actionable moves men can make should they choose to get married or involved with women and the associated risks

Historia
Never before in the history of the world has more time, effort, and resources been invested into a single generation than the Millennials. Be it incredibly expensive college degrees, perfectly privileged diets, life-coping drugs, uncountable therapist visits, even bending reality so everybody was impossibly a winner, no expense was spared for the most pampered generation in human history. But $30 trillion and 20 years later we have the biggest failure of a human crop in the history of the world.

Intriguing analysis on the millennial social trend
Revisado: 04-08-21
Lots of good info and detail explaining the cause of and impacts of the generational changes over the past 75 or so years and how individuals in their respective group have impacted society. Suffice to say, baby boomers fucked everything up BAD, refuse to admit it, have no solution to it, then raised a whole generation of kids (millennials) who are reaching adulthood now and show all the negative impacts the ineffective parenting techniques baby boomers employed. We are fucked.

SuperFreakonomics challenges the way we think all over again, exploring the hidden side of everything with such questions as: How is a street prostitute like a department-store Santa? What do hurricanes, heart attacks, and highway deaths have in common? Can eating kangaroo save the planet? Levitt and Dubner mix smart thinking and great storytelling like no one else.

I was expecting a longer, more in-depth dive into some of these topics or at least a more extensive coverage of topics. That being said, the data is quite interesting and thought provoking. I would recommend

Historia
This essay aims to inform the reader about the real mathematical chances of success he faces in the pursuit of women, as well as the modern-day risks, so that he may make an informed economic decision as to how he best invests his life. It also aims to align the reader's expectations with reality so his life is not ruined by delusion or hope, both of which have ruined millions of lives in the past. But in short, this essay is nothing less than the most important cost-benefit analysis any man will read.

Good info but not as a deep dive
Revisado: 02-24-21
Book is short, only a couple hours. Lots of good info and stats that lead into the analysis but I was expecting it to have more in depth dive into the major data points given the authors other books. The charts alluded to at the end are not available yet on the website.

Historia
Serving as a powerful follow-up to Jordan Peterson’s book 12 Rules for Life, Dr. Gad Saad unpacks what is really happening in progressive safe zones, why we need to be paying more attention to these trends, and what we must do to stop the spread of dangerous thinking. A professor at Concordia University who has witnessed this troubling epidemic firsthand, Dr. Saad dissects a multitude of these concerning forces (corrupt thought patterns, belief systems, attitudes, etc.) that have given rise to a stifling political correctness in our society.

Informative and entertain
Revisado: 12-11-20
Been a fan of Gad Saad for years and he’s a very sharp intellectual mind in this time of ivory tower idiots. The book is very reasoned comparative approach to rational thought. My only critique would be I would have preferred if the author read it.
