Historia
Blaze TV and top radio host Dana Loesch explains that the biggest political problem today is that the people who run this country have no idea what life is really like for ordinary Americans. In fact, they have contempt for the very people they claim to represent. When the owners of a small pizza parlor in Indiana were asked by the local press whether they would ever cater a gay wedding, they said no, citing their personal religious beliefs.

Prouder than ever to be from Flyover Country
Revisado: 07-04-16
Dana Loesch is a girl after my own heart and her Midwestern common sense applied to the current political environment makes me prouder than ever to be a conservative from Flyover Country.
The Coastal media and leftist culture leaders do not acknowledge the practical ways of life that Flyovers cherish. They don't understand our priorities of God, Family and Country. But to be truthful, we don't understand theirs, either.
However, thanks to Loesch's treatise, there's now a place to begin discussion.
Bravo, Dana. May this be the real start of appreciation and cooperation that will someday lead to One Nation Under God Indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Historia
In The Snapping of the American Mind, veteran journalist and best-selling author David Kupelian shows how the progressive Left - which today dominates America's key institutions, from the news and entertainment media, to education, to government itself - is accomplishing much more than just enlarging government, redistributing wealth, and de-Christianizing the culture.

Kupelian offers spiritual solutions for what ails the American mind
Revisado: 07-03-16
There's no question that the American mind and heart are experiencing pressures and aches like never before. Consciences are growing more seared and hearts hardened as the culture attempts to ease the pain with medication, deception and depravity. Kupelian offer some strong evidence that the American mind and heart are hopeless.
But as the grim prognosis is announced, Kupelian offers a a way of escape that is possible and optimistic - and eternal.
There is a way out of the mess we're in.
A must read for the disheartened that treasure traditional values and remain committed to leaving the next generation a world better than the one we inherited.
Thank you David Kupelian.

Historia
The Greek philosopher Socrates famously said that “the unexamined life is not worth living.” Taking this as a starting point, Eric Metaxas founded a speaking series that encouraged busy and successful professionals to attend forums and think actively about the bigger questions in life; thus Socrates in the City: Conversations on “Life, God, and Other Small Topics” was born.

Inspiration for down-trodden Christians
Revisado: 05-28-13
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
This is a must listen for any Christian weary from swimming upstream in a secular, self-consumed world. The "small topics" addressed in Socrates in the City are timely, relevant and inspirational. Can't say how crucial it is for serious believers to delve into these topics and come up breathing fresh, invigorating hope and renewal. Such a blessing!
Which scene was your favorite?
Loved Paul Vitz' speech on Fatherhood and Chuck Colson's talk - incredibly important.

Historia
In a scrap heap within an abandoned factory, the greatest invention in history lies dormant and unused. By what fatal error of judgment has its value gone unrecognized, its brilliant inventor punished rather than rewarded for his efforts? In defense of those greatest of human qualities that have made civilization possible, one man sets out to show what would happen to the world if all the heroes of innovation and industry went on strike.

Atlas Shrugged is a must-listen for freedom lovers
Revisado: 05-04-12
If you could sum up Atlas Shrugged in three words, what would they be?
Compelling, inspiring, thought-provoking
What about Scott Brick???s performance did you like?
His voice's clarity and passion make the listen entertaining.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The soliloquy about money, free market and economic freedom in Part III spells out human nature and its love-hate affair with capitalism and money itself. Brilliant segment on Rand's part and wonderful interpretation on Brick's.
Any additional comments?
This is a novel written in the 40s - but it's message is especially important when it's cool to shun capitalism. Free markets is the key to America's success and this perspective should be appealing to college age and above - it is urgent that more Americans listen to get the other side of the economic story.
