I must admit I’ve become pretty desensitized to everything but this book kinda f**ked me up. I could never imagine someone really went through a life like this. This is a must read for everything.

Was hoping this book would go into details about how forest bath (feeling, looking, smelling, hearing, being in the moment, etc) instead it’s more on the lines of worshiping the forest as if it’s a God or something... it’s very odd. I’ll be honest... If you’re into that new age s**t, you might actually love this book... but for a casual person... go with something else.

Why so negative?!

Joshua Tongol teaches everyone should be more positive... and then goes on to trash and talk negatively about Christianity and other religions. Why so negative?! If I wanna hear your thoughts about religion and why you hate Christianity so much... I'd get your other book. If your able to get passed him shoving his negative views of religion down your throat... its actually a good book. Easily 4-5 stars...... but sadly he couldn't control himself. Oh well... still enjoyed the listening.

80% is a whole lot of nothing

The book starts off by him telling his editor that he doesn’t think he has enough material to write a book after his experience... he should have stuck with that initial gut feeling. I loved his book living with a navy seal (one of my favorite books) but this book had nothing but fillers with only 10-20% of substance. I wanted to bail on the book a few hours in... I should’ve stuck with my gut feeling as well. Hard pass. Get his other book instead.
