Historia
What does divorcing Hollywood’s most powerful jerk get you? In my case, blacklisted and a ticket to rock bottom. A one-time studio executive, I’m now scrabbling as a newly licensed P.I. in the city that popularized noir. And I’ve just landed a job at a shabby downtown agency. Watch out, LA! But that was before I discovered the agency’s specialty—hunting monsters. The actual kind. Suddenly, I’m learning about a side of the city that makes horror seem like a documentary: vampires, werewolves, hostile spirits, and all manner of magic.

Historia
Judith Potts is 77 years old and blissfully happy. She lives on her own in a faded mansion just outside Marlow, there’s no man in her life to tell her what to do or how much whisky to drink, and to keep herself busy she sets crosswords for The Times newspaper. One evening, while out swimming in the Thames, Judith witnesses a brutal murder. The local police don’t believe her story, so she decides to investigate for herself and is soon joined in her quest by Suzie, a salt-of-the-earth dog-walker, and Becks, the prim and proper wife of the local vicar.

Revisado: 11-14-24
I started out watching the Marlo murder club on PBS and then I decided to listen to the books. I love the books because there’s so much more detail than what PDS did. However, it is fun to watch it on PBS also

Historia
When I catch a fire druid lurking around the latest victim, the deaths don’t seem so innocent. Add a kidnapping case involving Manhattan’s most hallowed cathedral, and I’m seeing dangerous parallels to my first major outing as a wizard. The one that landed me face-to-face with a demon lord.

I really love this book it’s every bit as good as the first book and the second book of the Thursday murder club. It was not as crazy about the narrator as I was for the first and second book but I’ve already listened to it twice and enjoyed it immensely

This is such a good example of sisterly love
Revisado: 09-18-22
This book is such a good book about romance but especially about sisterly love. My sister recently passed away and this book reminded me of all the good times she and I shared. The events weren’t In this book we’re nothing similar to what our lives were like but the love that is expressed between the two sisters is fantastic.
And then of course there’s the wonderful love story which makes for a good romance truly enjoyed this book.
