Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I really loved all the books in this series
What does Tavia Gilbert bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
This series is the first one I have listened to with Tavia Gilbert and her performance is unbelievably good. Her voice puts me so far into the story that my heart races with the fight scenes and my eyes fill with tears during the sad and happy scenes. Between the writing and the performance it may be the best series I have listed to.

Revisado: 03-25-14
What made the experience of listening to Deadly Forecast the most enjoyable?
I really love series, its nice to get to know your characters and see the story evolve from book to book.
What didn’t you like about Elizabeth Michaels’s performance?
She does not do a good job as Abby and her voice inflection for the other characters leaves a lot to be desired. Every time Brice Harrison had a line i cringed because she made him sound like a weasel, not the Assistant Special Agent in Charge. I feel bad saying it but she is not the best choice for this series, a different book maybe, but if i didn't have my kindle book to help me break from the performance I may have given up on this series 10 books ago.
Any additional comments?
The series is a good one just get past the narration and you can love Abby, Candace, Dutch, Brice, Milo and the rest of the "crew"

Revisado: 03-25-14
Would you consider the audio edition of Doom with a View to be better than the print version?
I would have to recommend the print version, the performance really makes it difficult to listen to. Abby sounds much older than she should. Eileen Stevens, Amanda Ronconi, Amy Rubinate, anyone please give Abby new life.
How could the performance have been better?
I really wish a different narrator could be found continuing the series in audio is difficult. I am sure Ms. Michaels could be fine in another book, but she is really not at all right for this one.

Revisado: 10-30-13
What made the experience of listening to Abby Cooper, Psychic Eye the most enjoyable?
I really like the character
What didn’t you like about Elizabeth Michaels’s performance?
I just don't feel like she sounds like Abby Cooper, no disrespect but I was under the impression that Abby Cooper is in her early 30's and Elizabeth Michaels doesn't sound like a woman in her early 30's from Michigan. She does mispronunce words and places like street names in most books in this series.
Any additional comments?
Love the story, but the narrator just isn't right for the character. I am sure she could do other characters in other books better, she just isn't Abby.

Always a nice read
Revisado: 05-29-13
Would you consider the audio edition of Daddy's Gone A Hunting to be better than the print version?
As a busy mom being able to have the audio version of this book was great. I was able to listen on my commute to work, while doing housework and when getting ready to go to bed. Print versions are good, but being "read to" while doing mundane chores is way better!
What other book might you compare Daddy's Gone A Hunting to and why?
It is similar to Mary Higgins Clark's other books, but I own all of them, so I guess she is doing something right.
Which scene was your favorite?
Kate's experiences and flashes of memory while in a coma was interesting.

Historia
In Dad is Fat, stand-up comedian Jim Gaffigan, who’s best known for his legendary riffs on Hot Pockets, bacon, manatees, and McDonald's, expresses all the joys and horrors of life with five young children - everything from cousins ("celebrities for little kids") to toddlers’ communication skills ("they always sound like they have traveled by horseback for hours to deliver important news"), to the eating habits of four-year-olds ("there is no difference between a four-year-old eating a taco and throwing a taco on the floor").

Revisado: 05-29-13
What made the experience of listening to Dad Is Fat the most enjoyable?
Listening to Jim tell his stories is just priceless
What did you like best about this story?
I really enjoyed hearing from a dad's perspective. I have read many books from mom's but hearing a dad talk about his experience was entertaining and eye opening. I bet my husband could relate to a lot of Jim's stories, minus 3 children.
Have you listened to any of Jim Gaffigan’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have listened to and seen Jim Gaffigan in concert, this was right in line with his great comedic perfomances.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I laughed out loud many times.

Would you consider the audio edition of Straight Talk, No Chaser to be better than the print version?
I really enjoyed the audio version of this book. Steve made his points and had some really good ones. Having Steve's voice made a bigger impact then I think I would have had if I had read the print version of this book.
What does Steve Harvey bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The inflections made this a great listen. You really know how Steve wants you to take what he wrote.

Historia
Discovered in the attic in which she spent the last years of her life, Anne Frank’s remarkable diary has since become a world classic - a powerful reminder of the horrors of war and an eloquent testament to the human spirit. In 1942, with Nazis occupying Holland, a 13-year-old Jewish girl and her family fled their home in Amsterdam and went into hiding. For the next two years, until their whereabouts were betrayed to the Gestapo, they and another family lived cloistered in the “Secret Annex” of an old office building.

New view of an old book
Revisado: 03-05-13
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, I read this book many years ago and this version was different than the Anne Frank of my youth. I thought the story was very moving and listening to Anne's story as an adult and mother made me see it a bit differently. Even though we know the end to the story, listening to Anne just talk about being a teenager was very relatable. I remember feeling some of the same things that Anne describes and that in turn made me think about my own teenage daughter and some of the things she may be thinking and feeling. The times have changed, but so much of it is still relevent.
What about Selma Blair’s performance did you like?
She had great inflection and in my mind was Anne
