Terrific Conclusion to a Great Series
Revisado: 04-01-25
Jonathan Stroud is a fine writer. Read this series, read the Lockwood and Co. series, and read the Bartimaeus series. They are all worth the time. Sophie Aldred reads the story perfectly, and gives the characters unique and believable voices.

Fine Reading of a Fine Mystery
Revisado: 07-10-24
Scruffy Kindaichi is a great character. Japan's dark post-war period is a fascinating setting. Japan lost what it was and had a completely uncertain future. The narrator does a great job bringing the voices of the many characters to life. I already have the next book of this series in my listening queue.

Historia
Who was Rumi, and how does he continue to speak to us today? On Song of the Sun, Andrew Harvey, the Oxford-trained authority on Rumi and author of several modern spiritual classics, takes us inside the extraordinary life and teachings of this prophet and poet. Harvey sifts through the many legends and tales associated with Rumi's life to reveal a rich and inspiring portrait of what a human being in love with and empowered by God can become. He mines the thousands of odes and quatrains composed by Rumi, and shares the most sumptuous and ecstatic works, all with clear relevance to our spiritual lives today. At a time when we are hungry for a divine vision of our world as it can be - and should be - Song of the Sun is an invitation to Rumi's most sacred and glorious feast.

Awful
Revisado: 07-03-09
This audio book is much more about Andrew Harvey than it was about Rumi. This is a shame, since Rumi's own work is much more interesting than Harvey's self serving gloss on Rumi's life and writing.
