Historia
When the Australian Mystery Writers’ Society invited me to their crime-writing festival aboard the Ghan, the famous train between Darwin and Adelaide, I was hoping for some inspiration for my second book. Fiction, this time: I needed a break from real people killing each other. Obviously, that didn’t pan out.

Pretty solid sequel
Revisado: 01-30-25
I enjoyed it. I wasn’t as into it as the first one but it was still entertaining. I would read another book if the author ever decided to continue with this character.

Love this series
Revisado: 01-21-25
I am loving this series. Middle aged main characters, men who aren’t just straight pigs the whole book, women who can hold their own. The only thing I will say is that, while I love the love story between Clara and Istvhan and I liked the continuation of the smooth man mystery, I did feel like the smooth man was defeated pretty quickly and easily. I also felt the end of the book was sort of abrupt, it made sense but it was just a lot happening and then end. But I still really enjoyed it and will continue the series.

Honestly one of the best fantasy romances I’ve read
Revisado: 01-15-25
Loved it! Finished it so fast cause I couldn’t stop listening to it. Even my husband, who doesn’t usually care about my stories, was into this one. The romance was great, I loved that they weren’t freshly 18 but mature adults. I loved that Steven was actually a gentleman that was kind, respectful and smitten while also being a manly fighter. I loved Graces character as well. Her job was interesting, she had a gentle but sparky personality. I loved Marguerite and Tabs and really all the characters.
The storyline was interesting and definitely got more intense at the end and it definitely made you want to read the next book. I started this on a whim thinking it might not be that interesting but it’s ended up being a new favorite of mine.

One typo, and a boy and girl connect by chance. Wishing each other a happy Valentine’s Day isn’t the end. In fact, it becomes a friendly annual tradition—with rules: no pics, no real names, nothing too personal. As years pass, the rules for their email “dates” are breaking, and they’re sharing more than they imagined—including the urge to ask…what if we actually met?

The ending was cute but it had a couple of the things that annoys me a lot in romance stories which is the I’m not like other girls girl and the so tall and amazing at sex dude. Also I may be in the minority but I don’t really see the romance in the fact that she at the end, spoiler btw, is literally flirting and making plans to go on a date with her hot TA when she’s making plans to meet up with C finally. I know they say C said it was ok and at the end she starts to get suspicious that the TA is C but it’s still odd to me. If some guy was asking to finally meet up with me and then was also flirting and making plans with someone else I would no longer be interested.

Cute Cozy Fantasy

Loved this! It’s a bit corny at points but it’s a great little cozy read I loved the characters and the story.
