Historia
A sinister cabal of corrupt law enforcement personnel, intelligence agents, and military officials at the highest levels of government plotted to overthrow a president. Even after they failed, they continue to secretly pull the levers of power without any accountability to the American people. This isn’t the synopsis of a fictional spy thriller. This is what is actually happening in the United States government.

The bumper-sticker directive to ‘follow the science’ was actually an evasion of responsibility. It let people off the hook for their bad decisions in a crisis. Was New York Governor Cuomo’s executive order sending COVID-hospitalized patients back to nursing homes to infect other vulnerable nursing home patients ‘following the science’? Relative to the total nursing home population, Governor Cuomo contributed to a larger percentage of nursing-home deaths - especially when compared to the states without such a policy.

The Gold Standard for Making America Healthy Again
Revisado: 03-21-25
Dr. Simone Gold represents true courage surrounded by a cesspool of professional cowards and butt kissers. Her narrative here is not merely a gripe (although that would be fair). But as a Juris Doctor she presents an indictment against the cowardice that rises to negligent criminal conspiracy. Her prose, plus her White Paper Appendix can be absorbed and admired within 1/2 a day easily while multitasking, as I did. This book title should be every patient’s litmus test for choosing a physician you can trust. And I also recommend you begin by searching and subscribing to any content produced by America’s Frontline Doctors.

Historia
If wolves in sheep clothing are a problem for the people of God, then what should we think of wolves who identify as wolves and want to supplant Christian civilization founded on materialist operating assumptions? There are many Christians who will not participate in civilization-building efforts that include economics, journalism, politics, education, and science because they believe (or have been taught to believe) these areas of thought are outside the realm of what constitutes a Christian worldview. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Game Over - Truth Outshines Blindness
Revisado: 06-15-24
We all know the famous movie line, “You can’t handle the truth!” Well, that line sums up how readers of this theological & philosophical treatise will react. If the idea that Gravity is unfair and must NEVER be spoken of openly so as not to offend someone/anyone relates to your strategy to be invited to parties, I hope this dose of clarity will arrest you when you least expect it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that noble Christian Bible study leaders will adopt this book as a supplement to your Christian education curriculum. And, teach your students to become lay leaders by teaching their own Bible studies from this supplement in truth & love.

A masterpiece of satire, this classic has entertained and enlightened readers the world over with its sly and ironic portrayal of human life and foibles from the vantage point of Screwtape, a highly placed assistant to "Our Father Below". At once wildly comic, deadly serious, and strikingly original, C.S. Lewis gives us the correspondence of the worldly-wise old Devil to his nephew, Wormwood, a novice demon in charge of securing the damnation of an ordinary young man.

Reading Our Opponent’s Playbook
Revisado: 05-19-23
My 4th lifetime read of this title refreshes me to keep it handy for a 5th reading.
As a tactical Christian mournfully aware of my own weaknesses and proclivity, regularly reading our opponents’ playbook as often as reading our Advocate’s game-plan, makes me both cautious and resilient.
To listen to skeptics’ sniping and snark, dripping with petulant arrogant condescension, serves only to confirm the mortal and eternal nature of our conflict.
Screwtape’s characterization in these pages cements the visage of the most villainous, heinous master criminal posted on the “Most Wanted” bulletin boards of our lives. Upon spying the suspect in our vicinity, we do well to secure our spiritual armor, pray a “911-prayer” to the Almighty peace officer, and plot our most lethal form of self-defense.

Hillbilly Elegy is a passionate and personal analysis of a culture in crisis - that of white working-class Americans. The decline of this group, a demographic of our country that has been slowly disintegrating over 40 years, has been reported on with growing frequency and alarm but has never before been written about as searingly from the inside. J. D. Vance tells the true story of what a social, regional, and class decline feels like when you were born with it hung around your neck.

Revisado: 01-18-23
Listen to this before or after Rules for Patriots. I listened in the order they were written. I also absorbed the ideas in the decades-long-sequence in which I also regarded them. My compliment to Steve Deace is this: not since the days of Rush Limbaugh have I felt a mind meld with the speaker like I do at this moment.
To those who read reviews to decide whether to read the book, your welcome. Decide. But know this, the Truth will not be moved by your decision to read or not read. Your decision will simply reflect your courage to hear and act based on Truth.
While the book title may induce an inner urge to spike a football, this is NOT A spike the ball book. On the contrary, as lifted from the author’s own words, this is a Hail Mary book. Read on.

Took Me Too Long To Find This Author-Title: Better Me Late Than Never
Revisado: 01-04-23
If you consider yourself a principled, Judeo-Christian Western Civilization world viewer with a calling and purpose to be “salt & light” in a dying world, this Author & Title deserves your full attention.
Even despite being written more than 2.5 Presidential cycles ago, the nature of strategic vision empowered by principles, values and world view never loses worth and value.
Does your personality type depict you as a visionary who observes the “Forest instead of the Trees”? And do you spend your mental energy attempting to craft the messaging needed to plant new trees to change the forest? If so, this author-title is for you.
Read this now, Re-read it again and again, and join us “in camp” to live the rest of our days being those agents of change that establishment fascist autocrats wish away, cajole with bribes and sweet-talk, and wring their hands in anxiety at our hubris and intellectual power.
Steve Deace, you are my brother from another mother, and I deeply appreciate and admire what you have accomplished. God speed and I pray that when we meet, our Lord & Savior will bless that meeting for his higher purposes, both on earth and in heaven.

Historia
The dystopian future that George Orwell predicted for 1984 has finally arrived, 100 years late and 10 times as brutal. To save all that he loves, Orwell will have to travel between his future self - Erik Blair, Orwell’s descendant and unwitting heir to his legacy - and the past. As for Erik Blair, his life plan isn’t overly complicated: Avoid trouble. Avoid pain. And get from one day to the next without attracting the “wrong” kind of attention, which really equates to any kind of attention when the government and its robotic thugs are involved.

Resistance is NOT futile
Revisado: 07-12-22
1st, Why read this? Because experiencing the world of Erik Blair is psychological training for resisting the tyrannies of the real world. And, because fiction versus faction is often distinguished by timing and degree, not by form, function or meaning.
2nd, I review as a man who once worked for the author, drew my life’s mission and inspiration from his Institute, and personally witnessed his mannerisms, his artful & dystopian desk & wall decor, and his dedication to the philosophical and legal defense of America’s founding principles.
3rd, this foray into creative “factional” writing, to story telling, to applying the ideas that “art imitates life, just as life imitates art,” plants, waters, cultivates and leads to my own harvest in this genre of “influence by any means.”
We NEED more book series’ of this nature as lovers and adherents to the principles and values that made America a beacon of liberty, a safe haven for Faith, a rebel opposed to corporate fascism, political tyranny and oligarchy and a bulwark against collectivist, Marxist, woke Nihilistic surrender.
Impossible for me to separate my understanding of the author and his co-author from the characters in this novel, I smile and wholeheartedly APPROVE of this work. As a review-reader, allocate whatever weight my admission leads you to apply. But know this. Resistance is NOT futile!!!

“Work of Faction” Aptly Describes this Work
Revisado: 06-29-22
If the narrative seems “too much” to bare forbearance, read ahead to the last chapter epilogue.
Threading these undisputed real world details together into a compressed narrative does indeed take on the essence of an indictment for a charge of Conspiracy. If that alone causes you to avert your eyes, then you must consider what range of possible psycho-social statements can fairly apply to you.
As a story read for entertainment, this one follows a highly detailed and intellectually purpose-driven path. The summation of that path can be illuminated in the last chapter conclusory rumination of the character Noah Gardner.
Often stated is that “art imitates life or vice versa.” That statement holds kernels of truth worthy of giving any work unearthing history a fair reading and scrutiny in context of its parallels to our personal applied experience.
In that regard, I would enthusiastically recommend that you consume this work, allowing the chapter to chapter progression to march you toward completion. And in so doing allow the narrative to make you question everything with boldness.

Historia
The dramatic story of the explosive 1894 clash of industry, labor, and government that shook the nation and marked a turning point for America. The Edge of Anarchy offers a vivid account of the greatest uprising of working people in American history. At the pinnacle of the Gilded Age, a boycott of Pullman sleeping cars by hundreds of thousands of railroad employees brought commerce to a standstill across much of the country. Famine threatened, riots broke out along the rail lines. Soon the US Army was on the march and gunfire rang from the streets of major cities.

Know Thy Enemy
Revisado: 05-13-22
I am a model railroader. I love to study the history of the industry. I am also intellectually and spiritually attuned to the use of history and intrigue to propel propaganda. Beware. This book offers both intellectual stimulation, historical contextual agitation, and in the final chapters, affirmation of the propagation of a political philosophy rooted in secular humanism. Again beware, but be aware and relish the stimulating revelation of thy enemy.
“The latter 19th Century labor conflicts hinges upon the question whether American creed rests on Individualism and Private Property versus Solidarity grounded in Equality and Mutual Sympathy.”
This restated quote from the 29th chapter written by Jack Kelly, in railroad story context, reveals the false dichotomy erected by Secular Humanism in its antipathy toward Divine Authority.
Union Socialist Eugene Debs professed his agnosticism blended with his ethical enlightenment.
Capitalist tycoon George Pullman practiced personal charity mixed with resolute principles of initiative and ingenuity producing unbridled reward.
Secular Humanism often draws upon tiny morsels of ethical adherence to principles derived from studying Nature. But it’s aim and end never deviates from Man on the Throne versus God on the Throne.
The result of pursuing the former invariably results in chaos and trauma, regardless of the “good intentions” or superiority inferred by the proponents’ supposed heightened intellect.
Pursuing the latter, a world on bended knee before the Throne of God, also results in scorn, ridicule and antipathy due principally to the sinful, fallen nature of this world.
Yet it is the individually redeemed and reformed hearts of men that can reveal the false dichotomy of secular humanism and yearn to live lives that celebrate the Individual’s created nature in the image of God, the blessings of possession of the fruits of labor and ingenuity, and the solidarity of brotherhood out of love and humility that lends itself to celebrating equality while serving brotherhood out of empathy and sympathy.
My last paragraph is the antithesis to Jack Kelly’s thesis, restated in paragraph two. All in all, I am enriched by listening to this book and I highly recommend it to all who will proceed with intellectual and spiritual caution.
