Review: First off, let me just say that LJ Shen is one of my favorite authors! I absolutely love her books. This is book 2 in LJ's Forbidden Love series, but it can be read as a standalone. Anyone who knows me, knows I LOVE Brother's Best Friend. So I was SUPER excited going into this one. I am probably alone on this, but when we met them in book 1, Truly Madly Deeply, I wanted these two together. It's probably just my Brother's Best Friend loving heart, but I was over the moon when I found out these two were indeed endgame!

Dylan Casablancas a single mom, stuck going through the motions, living in her small town, while supporting her daughter Gravity and trying to be everything for her. Rhyland Coltridge is Dylan's brother's best friend living in NY and trying a new business venture. When Dylan's brother asks for help with his NY apartment, Dylan's life changes more than she ever could have imagined! The banter between Dylan and Rhyland was just so good. It was like watching a tennis match.😂 The back and forth was delicious. I was a little weary of Rhyland, but I trust LJ Shen and know to trust the process. Rhyland's growth may just be my favorite part of their story. I don't want to give anything away, but I love the character development they both went through. I loved the glimpse of the past and the social media comments had me cracking up! Then there was the tension and chemistry between these two!😏👌

“This woman was either going to be the death of me or the love of my life. No in-between about it.”

Then there is sweet little Gravity. I absolutely loved the relationship between Rhyland and Gravity even though it was a rough start. I, of course, loved the jealousy and any part where Rhyland became unhinged.😂 These three truly were perfect for each other. Their story is now my favorite in the series. I loved the bits we got of Cal, Row, and their little one.

I listened to the audiobook by Teddy Hamilton and Savannah Peachwood. They both did a great job of bringing these characters to life. The duet narration was perfection! I loved it! I can't wait for more of this world. I am excited and scared for Tate and Gia next, but once again, I will trust LJ to bring Tate to his knees!😝 The glimpse we got had me soooo excited!

Review: From Nowhere is book 2 in Jewel's Wildfire series and can be read as a standalone. Although, I absolutely LOVED From Air (book 1) and highly recommend it! We met Maren in From Air as Fitz's roommate and Jamie's best friend. She was so funny and protective that I immediately knew I needed her book. Jewel has such an incredible gift that you can't put her books down. You just need to know!

Maren is an air tanker pilot in Missoula Montana. Ozzy is an aircraft mechanic at Cielo where they both work, and a widow with the sweetest 10 year old girl, Lola. Oh my gosh, the meet-cute between these two put THE BIGGEST smile on my face! I was cracking up, and I was immediately hooked and needing more of them. I loved the journey these two went on, and the banter was top tier just like Jewel always delivers. I loved Ozzy and the little things he would do for Maren. Their sneaking around was kinda fun and brought back memories. I did want to smack Ozzy upside the head a few times, but it was part of his journey. Maren's patience and love for Lola brought tears to my eyes, and my heart swelled. The relationship between Ozzy and Lola stole my heart. He is such a good dad, and knowing what is best for Lola to heal from the trauma she endured. I felt for him and his struggles. Lola may have stolen the show in quite a few scenes, but she is so worth it. I loved the healing journey that they three of them went on. Maren truly was exactly what Ozzy and Lola needed. Jewel always delivers such unique stories filled with every emotion, and this book was no different. I loved the bits we got of Fitz, Jamie, and Will. I am secretly hoping for Will and a certain someone for book 3.🤞

I listened to the audiobook by Benjamin Sands and Amy McFadden. Both are new narrators to me, but I thought they both did a great job bringing these characters to life. I highly recommend this series!

Review: Wild Side is book 3 in Elsie's Rose Hill series, but it can be read as a standalone. Honestly, the first 2 books are so good, that I highly recommend you go back and read them if you haven't already!😁 I knew from the moment we met Rhys, I was going to love him!😍

Tabitha Garrison is the sassy chef and restaurant owner in Rose Hills who just lost her sister. A sister who left behind the cutest little boy named Milo. Tabitha immediately steps in assuming she is his legal guardian when lo and behold her sisters big grumpy landlord enters the picture. Rhys Dupri is a man of few words, but he has plenty going on in that head of his! The push and pull between these two was delicious, and their banter made me so giddy! You could feel the tension and chemistry between these two. I loved how obsessed Rhys was with Tabitha, all the while Tabitha thought they hated each other. Rhys completely stole my heart. This big burly man was putty in Milo's hands. I was swoony over his relationship and love for this little boy. Then there is Cleocatra! Oh my gosh, my heart was on cloud 9! As a girl who grew up watching WWE with her grandpa, I loved Rhys and his storyline was so perfect. I loved both of their backstory and the growth and healing they were able to get through each other. Their entire story was chef's kiss!

At this point, I’m convinced Elsie Silver's writing is pure magic. I fall in love with her characters in every book, and Wild Side is no exception! 💚

I listened to the audio by Jason Clarke & Samantha Brentmoor and these two were absolutely perfect for Rhys and Tabby! They did such a fantastic job. I absolutely love the worlds and the characters Elsie creates. I feel like they are my friends and I can call them up for a girls night or to check when bowling night is. I can't wait for Bash's story next!😍

Review: I don't even know where to begin. Jewel once again continues to cemement herself as one of my top favorite authors who will always be a one-click author. She has such unique gift that you just can't put her books down! This one was no different!

Jaymes Andrews aka Jamie is a traveling nurse who just moved to Missoula, Montana. Calvin Fitzgerald aka Fitz is a Smoke Jumper. The two become roomates and let the fun begin! I loved the banter between these two soo much. I felt such a connection to Jamie! I would be just like her sitting there poking the bear.🤣 I loved it! But I also loved the deep connection these two had and how they could help one another to heal and grow.

“Jaymes, if I were normal, I’d love you enough. The problem is, I’m not normal, so I’d love you too much.”

I mean, come on!🥹 It's so hard to put into words how much you love a book in fear you just won't do it justice. Regardless, READ IT! I promise! Jewel's books are true magic! She will always take you on an incredible journey! She has the best twists you didn't see coming. If you are looking for a book that will make you laugh, cry and swoon all at once, From Air is the one. Jewel has once again proven why she's a master of contemporary romance. Highly recommend to anyone who loves an unforgettable love story!

Review: BREAKING NEWS: Coach Thick Thighs has stolen my heart. Wild Eyes is book 2 in Elsie's Rose Hill series, but it can be read as a standalone. I knew from book 1, Wild Love that I was going to love West, and boy, was I right!😍

Skylar Stone is a country music star and in need of a desperate escape from her world to reset and make an album of her own. Weston Belmont is a horse trainer and dad to two adorable kiddos, Oliver and Emmy. From the moment West met Skylar, I knew I would love these two together! The tension between them and their banter was just so good! I laughed out loud, cried, giggled, and kicked my feet like a little school girl.

“No, fancy face. Those are wild eyes. The eyes of a woman who just chose fight over flight. Don’t smother that. Keep ‘em and you’ll come out on top. Trust me.”

The way these two healed one another and the growth they went through made my heart so happy! I loved the nicknames, and let me just tell you that I share the same love that Skylar does.🤭 I won't give anything away, but her nickname for him is key! I loved all the bits we got of Rosie & Ford, The Ball Busters, and of course Oliver, Emmy, and Cherry. Oliver pulled on my mama heart, and I loved that Skyler was exactly what he needed. I loved the spitfire that Emmy was, and of course, I loved Cherry! She cracked me up! I am so freaking excited for Tabitha & Rhys next!😏

I listened to the audiobook by Teddy Hamilton and Savannah Peachwood. They were the absolute perfect West and Sky and brought them to life so perfectly! PLUS, we got to hear the songs with the beautiful voice of @alyssabrigiotta ! OH MY GOSH! The lyrics, her voice, everything was so powerful! It made me cry all over again! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS AUDIOBOOK!!! You WILL NOT be disappointed!!!🧡

This is my new favorite book by Elsie! I'm OBSESSED!!! The way this man has loved Rosie since he was a teenager. Ford is the new standard! I love this man sooo much. The banter in this book is chef's kiss! I struggled because I loved this book so much that I didn't want it to end!🥰

Review: I don't even know where to begin with this one! I'm WILDY OBSESSED! I absolutely LOVED Ford and Rosie! We met Ford in Heartless in the Chestnut Springs series. I loved the little bits we got and couldn't way to get Ford's story! This is one of those books that I struggle to write a review for because I loved it so much that I worry I won't do it justice! I loved it so freaking much! Just read it! NOW! The End! Just kidding, kind of.😝

Rosalie Belmont comes back to Rose Hill due to some unforseen changes in her life. She has worked so hard and life isn't turning out like she thought it would. Ford is the World's Hottest Billionaire. He's making a home in Rose Hill and setting up his new Recording Studio when he gets an unexepected knock at his door. One he never saw coming. The connection between Ford and Rosie was so incredible. You could literally feel it come off the page. I laughed so hard at the banter between them, and their emails were pretty much my favorite. I think I had a smile on my face for 90+% of this book! The way Ford will do anything for the women he loves. He was so protective and absolutely incredible. I LOVE Ford Grant Jr! The storyline of this book was fabulous in every way. So unique and fun! I loved how we were able to get bits of their past sprinkled throughout. I was not expecting the single dad trope to be what it was, but I loved it even more because of it! Cora🌧 captured my heart and I am so thankful that she has Ford and Rosie in her life. I loved seeing Willa and her quirkiness. I will never get over her! I can't wait for West's story! And Dad's Night Out bowling league had me cracking up!😂

I listened to the audiobook by Vanessa Edwin and Zachary Webber. These two are a FANTASTIC duo and did such a great job bringing Rosie and Ford to life!
SO FREAKING GOOD! I highly recommend this book and especially this audiobook! I have already started relistening to it!😝😂 Definitely at TOP READ of 2024!

Review: This was my third book by Elizabeth. I read the first book in this series and now I need to go back and read The Summer I Saved You about the ex-husband Caleb! I am loving this series so much!

Kate is a hurricane. She whips in, causes chaos and damage and then she's gone. Only Beck seems to calm the storm that is Kate and know the best way to handle her. The angst in this book! I loved that Beck didn't put on the kid gloves to deal with Kate, but just knew how and what she needed. They were honestly so perfect for each other! My heart broke for Kate and all that she went through. I cried a lot for her. I normally can't handle books with drugs, but my broken heart was rooting for Kate the whole time. Beck was truly amazing with Kate and my heart is so full and happy with their HEA. They are perfect for each other!

“I’ve been in love with you since the day we met. From that first night I saw you standing outside The Midnight House. So, I waited, because I knew you and Caleb wouldn’t last.”

I mean🥹! Beck is all Alpha, so there won't be any coddling here, and he is a man of few words, but when he speaks...it is soooo worth it! He also has the dry sense of humor that had me laughing out loud multiple times! I listened to the audiobook by Connor Crais and Samantha Brentmoor. They both did a fantastic job bringing Beck and Kate to life! This audiobook had me all up in my feels, and I loved it!

This was my first book by this author and it definitely won't be the last! I loved the start of this Trilogy! Can't wait to get my hands on the next book. Both narrators were new to me but they nailed it. They brought the characters to life so perfectly! I will definitely be looking for more books by them and counting down the days till book 2, Reckless from Lauren Roberts!

Review: This was my first book by Brooke Montgomery writing on her own, and it definitely won't be my last! I read numerous when she was part of Kennedy Fox and really enjoyed them. I'm absolutely in my cowboy era, so I couldn't wait to jump into this series with this novella.

Ayden works at Sugarland Creek Ranch and Equine Retreat in Tennessee. He's been there for 10 years now and has truly found where he belongs. Only he had to leave behind the love of his life. Laney was left in Texas with her family and a big secret. When she finally finds where Ayden disappeared to, secrets are revealed, and lives are forever changed. These two touched my heart. I loved the connection these two shared and what Ayden was willing to do. I loved the background information we got on all the future characters. I hope we get more of Ayden, Laney and Serena. I listened to the audiobook by CJ Bloom and Bradley Ford. They both did a wonderful job bringing Laney, Ayden and Serena to life. This was a great novella to start off the series. I can't wait to dive into the next book with Noah and Fisher!

Review: This was my 2nd book by Jennifer and I loved it even more than the first! I might be obsessed with her books!

Sydney Neville and Oliver Lynch were best friends. They did everything together. Until one day, when both of their lives changed forever. Oh my gosh, this book is AMAZING! I absolutely LOVED everything about it! I can't even think about it without my heart soaring! Oliver and Sydney are so special to me. I have never swooned so much, cried so much and been sooooo freaking happy! I can't tell you how much I adore Sydney and Oliver. Oliver, with his innocence, just made my heart swell. Then there's Alexis, Athena and The Lotus Chronicles.🥹 Plus, the meaning of the title!!!

I freaking love this book and EVERYONE needs to read it! I listened to the audiobook by TJ Clark and Marie Hawkins. Both are new narrators to me, but I thought they embodied Oliver and Sydney perfectly! I highly recommend this amazing story! Top read of 2023!
