Kids say "It's Hilarious!"

My kids loved Wally Warmbottom and his hilarious letters and play on words. Mooses in Bazookas was silly, funny, and overall entertaining. The only story we didn't care for was the one about the dog and the rocket, because the kids didn't get it, and wished that it was read differently.
Otherwise, the performance was just awesome!!

Cute short story, could use better reader.

It's a cute short story about adventurous little boys, with a sweet message. The children I played this audio book for (boy and girl) both enjoyed it and wanted to hear It again. As for the writing, it could use a little more in the beginning of the story. As for the performance or narration, I am disappointed in the way it was read. Instead of his voice going down at the end of a sentence like in normal conversation or story telling, he sounded more like a reporter on the news . It wasn't bad, it just isn't a normal way of reading or telling a story. It made me feel as though the thoughts of the writer were incomplete and rushed through, but after listening to it again I really think it was just the reader/narrator.
Overall, the children really enjoyed it and I doubt that they noticed the things I was bothered by.
