Historia
The young man with the shock of white-blond hair lay spread-eagled on the floor, surrounded by fallen books. His hand reached out to the scattered pages, as though he was trying to tell her something. But who is he? How did he come to be killed in Flora’s ordinary little bookshop? Flora finds out he was staying at the Priory Hotel, and when the gardener suddenly dies in its beautiful grounds only a few days later, she is certain that something untoward is happening in her quiet village by the sea.

Cute story
Revisado: 06-05-24
The story was pretty good. The choice of narrator wasn’t. It sounded like an older voice for a lot of young people. The narration was hard to follow because the all the voices sounded the same.

More Gripping than Usual
Revisado: 05-17-24
This was an interesting story with lots of twists and turns, but the end was kind of abrupt.

Historia
Georgie, or Lady Georgiana Rannoch, is busy planning her upcoming nuptials to Darcy O'Mara. Unfortunately, what has started as a simple wedding has become quite a royal headache and grand affair, thanks to a guest list that includes the queen and the appointment of princesses as Georgie's bridesmaids. “If only Darcy and I had eloped!” she thinks, as she attempts to organize her wedding and find a place for her and her husband-to-be to live. Just as she despairs of ever finding a home, her godfather offers his fully staffed country estate. But something sinister is afoot....

This book is discordant with the series
Revisado: 06-24-19
The new narrator took some getting used to and the voices sometimes blended together, but what I really didn’t like about this book was how whiny and haughty Georgie was. It was like a whole new character. I love this series for the lovable, relatable, innocent and tough girl that Georgie is, so this book was a bit disappointing. The mystery was good though - it had me enthralled once it started unfolding.

Historia
Enjoy the first novels that brought the world two of Agatha Christies’ most enduring detectives: Miss Marple and Hercule Poirot. The Murder at the Vicarage is the first Miss Marple mystery, one which tests all her powers of observation and deduction. In The Mysterious Affair at Styles, Captain Arthur Hastings, invalided in the Great War, is recuperating as a guest of John Cavendish at Styles Court, the "country-place" of John's autocratic old aunt, Emily Inglethorpe.

Styles better than vicarage
Revisado: 06-23-17
The stories were both good, but the performance of Styles was much better. Definitely recommend it though.

The best part about them is that they have no side effects and are absolutely inexpensive. Thus, not only are they safe for health, but also turn out to be an economical option. This trend of resorting to home remedies is not new. In fact, they have their origin in ancient times. To deal with hair conditions like dandruff, dry scalp, grey hair, etc., there are plenty of effective natural remedies.

Any additional comments?
The narration is very quick for what is really recipes for hair masks and remedies. Probably better as an actual book than audiobook.

Laughed and cried

A great listen. Amy Schumer does a good job reading and writing. True to form, peppering heavy, sad moments with unbridled wit.
