This book was so confusing and could not capture my interest completely. I found myself spacing out. I had hoped the plot would get better but it didn't. the narrator was ok, Just ok. nothing special to really make the story better to listen to.

4 books for the price of one

Really if I didn't buy all 4 books for the one credit, then I never would have made it past the first book. it was one mistake after another with this girl. Very depressing throughout all the books. kind of like watching that movie Meet the Parents. of course there was a happy ending, and ends in my favorite city New Orleans. I am kind of neutral on this book it was good once it was done, but a little torture getting through it.

once I got use to it, the back stories are the best. shows the tie ins to the characters.

Not her best or worst work

I think JK Rowling definitely set the standards so high with Harry Potter, that anything she writes after is just sub par. not her worst work, but I struggle to get through it. The narrator was good, would say outstanding, but definitely had some flair.

Stop changing Narrators

I love these books, love this Author, but this particular narrator sounds like. Jersey shore 80's ding dong. and I am from NYC. so that saying something. I hate when they switch them.
her voice is just to shrill and heavy, she often sounds like she is yelling.

The stories are great, the narrator kinda sucks. Really dislike when they change narrators. The readerof the first 2 books were funny and put life into the characters. this guy falls flat.

Kate Tyler just couldn't pull it off. she made knight sound extremely creepy. I am sure the story was great, as I loves the other books. but I just couldn't listen to it. returning it. it was that bad.

Narrator ruined this book!

What did you like best about The Outlaw Demon Wails? What did you like least?

Love these books story is great characters are awesome, Kim Harrison can keep my attention with the story line, But this book was narrated by someone else than all the previous books & she ruined it. she pronounced some of the names different so I was confused at first who she was talking about. really can't they listen to the previous narrator so they know how names were being pronounced? she has a whiny voice, and just doesn't pulled the characters off right. Then there are these breaks of music randomly placed in the story, not at chapter ends but just anywhere, very annoying and I get the feeling some words are cut off from them. I hope it's not in the next book, and at least they got wise and went back to the old narrator.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Gigi Bermingham?

They where doing just fine with Margarita Gavin, don't know why they changed but guess they realized their mistake because she is the narrator for the other books after this one.

Any additional comments?

The random break of music in the book is very annoying & I hope it is not in the next book. If that was the publishers decision then I hope they learned that it was a bad one.

Would you listen to Hounded again? Why?

I will be listening to this again and again because it is such a great book Love the characters, even got my friend hooked on this series.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Atticus & Oberon are my favorite. the sarcasm and innocent rude remarks had me rolling on the floor.

What about Luke Daniels’s performance did you like?

He brings the characters to life giving each one the just personality the book intended them to have.
