Entertaining
Revisado: 05-24-23
I mostly enjoyed the story. Was a little long in a few places and I did figure out the direction it was going early on. Still it was entertaining and made me wish I had all the family generations and connections in my life.

Historia
It was a typical evening at a mall outside Portland, Maine. Three teenage friends waited for the movie to start. A boy flirted with the girl selling sunglasses. Mothers and children shopped together, and the manager at the video game store tended to customers. Then the shooters arrived. The chaos and carnage lasted only eight minutes before the killers were taken down. But for those who lived through it, the effects would last forever.

Great story

I really enjoyed this story. Couldn’t wait to find out what would happen next. I kept putting off things I needed to do so I could listen just a little longer.

Historia
When town troublemaker, Louella Drummond, drops dead in front of Isolde Quinn's pet store just minutes after threatening both Issy and her cousin Graeme, the police in the small lakeside town of Silver Hollow assume it's from natural causes. Until it's discovered that Louella was murdered. Not just any murder, though. Murder by paranormal means. Dark magic that could only have been performed by a powerful witch.

I enjoyed the story. Not deep but rather a relaxing storyline to go along with.

Too much about romance with a ghost.
Revisado: 02-04-23
Too much Michael. I found myself skipping over a lot of scenes with Michael. Too unbelievable. I like her stories where she sees the dead people but only to help her solve their murders then they are gone. I am hoping the next book isn’t all about Michael or that will be the last one I read. I like the FBI team but the romance with a ghost is too much for me, especially with a woman that is supposed to be as smart as Charlie.

Historia
Divorce lawyer Victoria Slade has seen enough unhappy endings to swear off marriage forever. But once she agrees to take on his sister's case, she's as determined to win as ever - even if that means teaming up with Ford....

Not the greatest narrating
Revisado: 04-26-17
The narration was different, almost like the narrator was irritated or bored with the story. I had a very difficult time getting into the story and almost gave up reading a couple of times. Eventually I got used to it and was able to finish the book.

Orphan Train

I enjoyed this novel so much that sometimes I couldn't bring myself to stop listening and do my daily chores. It make me laugh and it made me cry. I kept hoping it would go on and not end. Wonderfully written and narrated.
