Historia
Separated by 10 years, 3,000 miles, and the unrelenting stresses of adulthood, best friends Janet and Serena plan a 40th birthday girls’ trip to reconnect. But after a massive crash, they’re the only survivors to wash ashore on an uncharted Caribbean Island. Armed with only the clothes on their backs and zero survival skills, they fight to overcome hunger, thirst, deadly wildlife—and most terrifyingly—decades of accrued resentment. Can they find their way home, or will they kill each other first?

The actresses are the best and make the wild, madcap story so fun and entertaining. Best of all it’s free lol

The best of all the Audible Original Stories!
Revisado: 12-18-24
Interesting premise, good character development, just sweet enough but not sappy. It was very enjoyable and BINGEWORTHY.

The performance was great but the story dragged
Revisado: 09-26-24
The performance was great but the story dragged. It was just okay. Perhaps I had too high of hopes but it has a happy ending so that was nice.

Story is terrible and saccharine
Revisado: 06-14-23
Tropes abound in this terribly annoying novel. All women want are husbands and babies! Men who don’t want relationships don’t mean it! Divorces are easy and finding new love even simpler!
There’s no grit or real meat to the story. I hated it. The audible performances were great and while I hated the story the technical writing was solid.
I live unrealistic stories but this was was trying too hard to be real life and not ironic or actually over the top so it just came off as something a 14 year old would write about marriage.
Read it if you want this kind of fantasy land novel but I found it super annoying. and wanted to yell at the author so many times.

Story was MEH at best and far fetched. Great narration
Revisado: 04-09-23
I was so looking forward to this story after living the first one. But was annoyed/rolled my eyes at another story line that had a suspect that was into underage girls again. Too many leaps of logic in this story to be entertaining which was a bummer.

Historia
Our brains do their best to help us out, but every so often they can be real assholes - having meltdowns, getting addicted to things, or shutting down completely at the worst possible moments. Your brain knows it's not good to do these things, but it can't help it sometimes - especially if it's obsessing about trauma it can't overcome. That's where this life-changing book comes in. With humor, patience, science, and lots of good-ole swearing, Dr. Faith explains what's going on in your skull, and talks you through the process of retraining your brain to respond appropriately....

Loved the book and it’s advice. It sounded like it was recorded in a bathroom. Once you get over the bad sound quality, you will enjoy this!

Too much cheesy music at random times
Revisado: 11-19-22
I hated the bad, sentimental piano in the background of the chapters that would randomly swell making it hard to hear the words of the story. It distracted not added to it. As far as the story, it’s okay. Terribly unkind to women as was the time but still violent and judgmental.
