I enjoyed the premise, and the dialogue. The narrator was a bit too dramatic with everything she said. The male narrators were good though.
I don’t like the sex scenes, they are cringe. I love sex scenes, so it’s not the sex part that is cringe. It’s a mixture of the way it’s written and the way it’s narrated. The words ‘channel’ and ‘member’ are used a lot… it needed some crude words and less “trying to be proper.” Once the word cream was used to describe ejaculation and I gagged a little. Lol since when are the words cum, pussy, and dick not used in sex scenes. They are ten times better than weird work around words like channel, cream, or member over and over. It’s not hot and it’s not steamy.
Anyways.. the story had potential, but was lacking a lot of something. It was fast and not much seemed to happen that was wowing. If I’m going to read something that has terrible sex scenes you need a better story than this. It’s not giving enough.
I got the second book hoping it would give some more story, and I’m thinking about just stopping it. Which I’ve never done before. It’s all just horrible sex scenes thus far.

If only the sex scenes were okay. The worst written sexual scenes and chemistry between characters that I’ve read thus far, and I read a lot of harems. It actually turned me off at times. She is a great writer with everything else. I’ve been hesitant on getting Eva’s other books even if they sound awesome, because I can’t handle buying a harem with terrible steam. I wish someone could just tell me which books of Eva’s have them good written steamy parts with a bomb story.

Worth the read

I love this one, definitely worth a read. I don’t like parts of the world development, it’s a bit too romantic for my taste, like only being able to sleep with one person as an immortal. Odd, but okay. The first 4 books are great, Eden is extremely whiny at times, but the story line is well worth it I think.

I love the series, but I didn’t expect the change of narrative. Avalon is even whinier than Eden it seems. It was my least favorite book of the series thus far. But Josh Hurley did a great performance. It made it easier to get through. Worth the free book I think, but not a credit.

I enjoyed this book it went more in depth with the sexually explicit content, thank goodness. That girl held out for long enough. I have to wait for the next one 😭 I wish I had more patience. This book is semi predictable. None of the twists ever surprise me in books, so if I were picky with that aspect I wouldn’t like any books. The MC is 18 so she obviously does silly girl things..duhh but I love her parental relationship with her little brother. Especially as a mom reader it gives me a greater connection to her.
I LOVE the narrators they never disappoint me. I will try out any book that either of them narrate.

It was okay

Male leads/male written books are usually not my cup of tea. I decided to go with this book, because the narrator was spunky and could keep my attention, he was good with everything except the action scenes he fell flat for me. I wish I was able to keep up with it more. It might have been the writing though I’m not sure 🤔 I enjoyed most of the story, it was all very predictable, but I don’t unusually mind that so much. It was nice. I was getting slightly bored at the end. The “cliffhanger” wasn’t enough to make me wanna pick up the next book right away, but I might eventually.

WHY DID THE AUDIOBOOKS END 😭

I finished what was made into audiobooks. I’m a bit upset I can’t just listen to the rest of the series. It was predictable and an easy level read, but the narrator did an amazing job getting you into the story. She is making me dread having to read it myself. I can’t just leave off there I must keep reading. My curiosity has gotten the best of me! I listened to these books in a span of three or four days. Now I have to wait until I can afford to buy the next 7 or 8 books… 😭

A lovely start

I wasn’t into the first chapter, but I kept on listening and I found myself pulled in. I enjoyed listening to the narrater, she was able to bring his book to life. It’s definitely a teens and YA read, but I love it anyways it was a nice change. On to the next!

I would have loved this series if I read it before the series about her demon daughter. I like it a lot, but honestly her writing gets better as it progressed. I recommend you keep going with the titles in order. The last of the Calamities is my favorite thus far. Don’t read it starting with the last series 😅 I can’t wait to hear the next series.
