An excellent Ghost love story in quick fashion. Robert Tomoguchi crafts a an excellent story that resembles what feels like a real love story with people that disappear from our lives. Highly recommend checking this out. Bannister does a nice job with the quick pace chapters changing from 1st to 3rd person tp tell two sides of the story. I provided a free copy to give an honest review.

a pleasant and encouraging list

it is exactly what it says. a bunch of proverbs, that if you listen, make you think and generally make you feel good. Marks voice is perfectly soothing, but Im thankful Audible allows you to speed up the pace. i listened comfortably at 1.8. kind of a nice thing to listen to for small bursts on the morning. i would maybe listen to the last 2 mintes to get the authhors perspective before going through the whole thing.

Excellent sequal

Orly ages in mind, but not in body which is a focus of her story and search for love. Bannister does a wonderful job doing the first person narration for the more mature Orly. A lot more vampire life in this one as we travel to the castle of Orly's love and nemesis. Interested to find out where it will go in book three, without any spoilers.

Lots of good stories

I enjoyed the book and performance overall. Kelly has a great narration voice and does a good job with adjusting for dialogue. His style was better for some stories than others, but overall nothing distracting. If you enjoy the paranormal this is a good collection for you.

The traveling journal

Lots of fun to listen to. This hour long plus tale, is broken down into 100+ journal entries. The journal itself starts as a distraction with constant breaks of "log entry", but moves to comical as it seems to transfer around to 10+ different characters. The Narrator, Adam Joseph Ferry, does a great job of voicing many different entries, as it moves from the original owner, to his assistant, trolls, spiders, dragons, and more. All as part of the orignal mission to fix an air conditioning unit. The book plays on being absurd, but is really a fun fantasy.

it took a couple of chapters for the book to find its pacing. setup as blog entries, the first few read as blog entries with some good laughs but after a bit it develops a narative story with continued out loud laughs. Worth the ivestment. I received this free and am posting my honest review.

Great collection in bursts - worthy of the library

I haven't finished the book yet, but I have enjoyed some of the gore and frivolous laughs and Eww's I have listened to so far. THe narrator's voice fits the genre, and he does a great job of telling the stories. As a collection of short stories this also works to listen to as a brain dump between other listen's/reads. I will likely pick up more stories as I get through other parts of my listening list, but 15 hours of it became a little overwhelming to go straight through. Worth having in your library. I received this as a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

Great sci fi plot, and something new

really enjoyed the story and narration for Children of the coming world. Mars 1 seems to be told in log entries and took a little bit to adjust to some abrupt jumps. the narration was smotthe and great voices.

Couldn't get past the narration

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review.

I really couldn't judge the book as I could not get in any flow. I tried listening it at regular speed, and a much faster speed to see if that would take out the odd stress and spacing, but I couldn't make sense of what was going on. The narrator does have a nice grounded speaking voice, but it sounded like each sentence was recorded individually and then edited together. It creates a strange stress at the begging of every sentence and they sometimes become disjointed. I made it about 45 minutes in before giving up because I really didn't know what was going on.
