Historia
When moonlighting medical students harvesting skin from a corpse for temporary use accidentally take it from the wrong donor, the results are catastrophic: A New York City hospital ward is destroyed in a bloodbath, and an elderly professor, admitted for a routine skin graft, is suddenly the city's most wanted fugitive. While the police hunt the fleeing professor, Mulder and Scully track the skin that was grafted onto him, a trail that leads from the morgue to the headquarters of a cutting-edge biotech company to the jungles of Thailand.

Historia
At the end of the last century, Johnstown, Pennsylvania, was a booming coal-and-steel town filled with hardworking families striving for a piece of the nation's burgeoning industrial prosperity. In the mountains above Johnstown, an old earth dam had been hastily rebuilt to create a lake for an exclusive summer resort patronized by the tycoons of that same industrial prosperity, among them Andrew Carnegie, Henry Clay Frick, and Andrew Mellon.

Another Superb History From McCullough
Revisado: 08-16-16
Vivid, informative, exceptional history. Those who have a general idea of the disaster at Johnstown, as I had, owe themselves a journey through this book.

well told history of a technical topic
Revisado: 03-29-16
This is an expansive and detailed description of a technical and complex subject; if badly executed the book would have been impenetrable and tedious. It was anything but. Well organized and detailed, interesting and very informative, and with an occasional touch of humor. Mr Weiner is my favorite reader.
The reader of an Audible book can add or detract to a surprising degree. Mr Weiner is the best I've experienced.
I learned a great deal.

From the larger, louder half of the world-famous magic duo Penn & Teller comes a scathingly funny reinterpretation of The Ten Commandments. They are The Penn Commandments, and they reveal one outrageous and opinionated atheist’s experience in the world.

Never Trust A Carny !
Revisado: 03-17-16
I feel like a classic rube. I should have known an old fashioned carny like Penn Gillette would be a ripoff and he was. I couldn't finish this crap. It was, to be precise, a meandering pile of adolescent garbage. It had little to do with the proposed topic.
Lots of irrelevant anecdotal lamely titillating tripe. Don't bother with this book, and be careful when Audible offers discount selections. They're usually hauling out the trash.
